Riders @ Stampeders
I plan on retiring when I'm 75...no joke. Man, this thread has run a teeny weeny bit off topic.

Riders @ Stampeders
Good, cause we're getting tired of it too.
-
Riders @ Stampeders
Agreed. Riders won cause they were the better team tonight. The Bombers need to beat the stamps next weekend...and they will.
-
Eskimos @ Lions
I am nervous about our playoff scenario too, however, we are hot right now and I believe we can beat Calgary. Go Lions (oh, and B.C. sucks and Eskimos can't swallow).

Tiger-Cats @ RedBlacks
TSN's love affair this year has mostly centered on Johny Manziel. They like others, but he's their favorite. Again this is a game that has implications for the teams involved but I'm not that interested. I will be watching the Edmonton/B.C. game with great interest though.

Through the West or the East?
Yes, but then we'll have to play Hamilton or Ottawa in the Grey Cup. There's no easy path. Our last 2 league games may be must wins. But we are hot right now, so we have a chance. We just have to make the playoffs first, and right now, I'm pretty nervous.

Bombers sign Geoff Gray to a 3 year deal
And yet some media have wondered if Bighill is going to be our MOP this year...just saying

Bombers sign Geoff Gray to a 3 year deal
I'm assuming this is why Walters didn't go after other guys (i.e. Chris Matthews)...he likely gave Gray a nice signing bonus which counts against 2018 cap. Anyways...O -line could be strong for years to come.

Bombers sign Geoff Gray to a 3 year deal
Not sure the free agent status of our O line guys, but having Gray for 2019 and 2020 is huge.

Bombers sign Geoff Gray to a 3 year deal
Great for our future! Wonder if he plays right away, and if so, who does he replace??

BOMBERS -Playoffs - ESKIMOS Out
Yeah, I think I will be cheer for B.C. this weekend. The way things are going though, Edmonton will probably win.

Bombers year end awards predictions
Could also make an argument that Bighill is our MOP.

Three stars plus hh saskasuck edition
Sad if true. He was our best defensive player in '2017 and 2016. That's the downside of football. (At least he will get a full salary this season).

Through the West or the East?
At this point I don't care. We just need to make the playoffs.

So Can We Talk About Firing Jones Yet?
Agree

BOMBERS -Playoffs - ESKIMOS Out
Looks like. I don't know if we could end up in a 3 way tie, but I'm guessing that's not favorable for us either. I just know we just gotta win.

Rate Ritchie Hall's Defense
I'd say it was an A+ yesterday. The defense has definitely stepped it up in the last few games.

BOMBERS -Playoffs - ESKIMOS Out
From the CFL site in the event of a tie: When two or more member Clubs are tied in the final Division standings at the conclusion of the regular season schedule, preferential ranking for playoff purposes shall be determined on the basis of the following descending-order priorities and shall be awarded to the Club that: has won the greater number of games played against all member Clubs of the League, then, has the higher winning percentage in all games played against all of the other tied Club(s), then, has scored the higher net aggregate of points (i.e. points scored for less points scored against) in all games played against all of the other tied Club(s), then, has scored the higher net quotient of points (i.e. points scored for divided by points scored against) in all games played against all of the other tied Club(s), then, has the higher winning percentage in all games played against all member Clubs of the Division, then, has scored the higher net aggregate of points in games played against all member Clubs of the Division, then, has scored the higher quotient of points in games played against all member Clubs of the Division, then, has scored the higher net aggregate of points in games played against all member Clubs of the League, then, has scored the higher net quotient of points in games played against all member Clubs of the League, then, has won a coin toss against the other tied Club. Note: If two Clubs remain tied after other Club(s) are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step a).

BOMBERS -Playoffs - ESKIMOS Out
It's far too close. I felt good about the Bomber win, but I didn't expect both B.C. and Edmonton to win too.

Game Day Thread- Week Eighteen, GAME 16: Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg Blue Bombers October 13th, 2018
Can we hand it off to Harris EVERY play?

Game Day Thread- Week Eighteen, GAME 16: Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg Blue Bombers October 13th, 2018
Rider offense will be limited to no more than 17 points today...trouble is, can we limit their defense/special teams from scoring?

Game Day Thread- Week Eighteen, GAME 16: Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg Blue Bombers October 13th, 2018
620 radio in Regina was just interviewing Tom Clements. Boy, I loved that guy. They asked him who the best QB he ever coached was (Brett Favre or Rodgers). He said Rogers was. I wonder if we could ever see Clements back in Winnipeg in the future - coach/G.M.? I doubt it. Anyways, Bombers by 10 in this one.

Glad I am not in Winnipeg this Saturday
We don't really like to see any Rider fans in Winnipeg, anytime, but since there are presently no laws against it, they will come. Seriously, there won't be many drunk Rider fans in the 'Peg this weekend. The Labour Day weekend in Regina, IMO, is the big drunk fest with many Bomber and Rider fans coming to the game already having loaded up. Bombers will win this one. Bombers by 10 (although I did make the same prediction for the Banjo Bowl).

Regular Season Bomber News & Discussion
I forgot we play them the last game. Oh well.
