Well, I will give the same response I would give if this happened to any player in the league...I will reserve judgement on his intent. He is paying a price for this - 2 games pay - so regardless, he needs to be more careful.

I think it's because they feel Fenner can play SAM well and Leggett is so versatile that he makes plays from anywhere on the field. (Leggett can play HB better than Fenner).

I'm going to say above average. Hall has some very good talent to work with, and some good depth, but I need to give Hall some credit too. This defense is on the rise.

Most on this board always cheer against the Riders. Not me when they are playing the Eskimo's. I lived through the Edmonton Dynasty of 5 cups in a row. I got so sick of them winning that I never wanted to see them win another game, ever again...never mind a Grey Cup. They are the Evil Empire, plain and simple.

We should be no worse than 4-1 in those 5 games. Calgary and the LDC will be tough games though.

Some will say that we haven't beaten a good offense yet...but I contend that I have seen improvements in this defense in the last 3-4 games. With Brandan Alexander back and with Sayles getting valuable playing experience I see the makings of possibly a top 3 defense. Our linebackers are now the strength of this defense...IMHO the best linebackers we have had since the late '80's/early 90's days.

I actually had a hard time with Calgary vs. Saskatchewan...it's time for Calgary to lose one...and SK defense has looked good...but I went with calgary

Yes. With Bowman gone I had wondered who the next object of hate on this forum would be...for now it looks like Lankford...but since he likely won't see the field it will be someone else. (Some love to hate, put down others constantly; it takes the focus off of our own deficiencies).

I think he meant that Nichols is better than Shreveler at going deep. Another plus of having Nichols back is that our best receiver - Adams - has been busier

Montreal had a real need. We didn't seem to be using or didn't seem to need Bowman...so...good move for both teams

A lot of the angst over Bowman's lack of production is just the result of him not being targeted. Adams is Nichols favorite receiver. That is not going to change. He is even being thrown to when other receivers are open. The last couple of years there was a lot of hate on this board against Denmark -"He's invisible"... "He can't get open" was a common refrain. Well, many times the issue was that he was not targetted. Bowman, by my count, had 2 balls thrown his way on Saturday. One he should have caught. The other was 2 feet in front of him. Let's relax and give him a few more games. If Dressler or Adams gets injured, we might see Bowmans value increase.
