I'm not gonna go after the rookies cuz quite frankly.... they aren't the problem. The entire D is the big problem and none of them are rookies. Ladd turning pucks over constantly... he's not a rookie. Stafford doing nothing the last several games... he's not a rookie.... Perreault even... not a rookie. The Jets have much bigger issues than Ehlers Petan and Copp who all actually look pretty good most nights... Petan with Scheifs and Wheeler last night looked real good in the third... that was the line creating chances or at least keeping the puck in Nashville Zone.

"Superstars" rarely to never make it to free agency. You have to draft them and hope they turn in to one. As for this forum will turn after a couple wins.... I'm not sure about that. The team has looked bad since their loss to the nyi... just got a couple wins because of good goaltending. Since losing to Montreal they have looked awful and have gotten worse. 7 0 is irrelevant... it's how they played that is concerning. Very little effort. 3 guys show up most games... little wheeler and Scheif... not gonna win with only 3 guys showing up. I'll throw in ehlers too... these 4 guys are trying night in night out... the rest tho look lost

Nobody wants the full team traded. Just some core pieces left over from Atlanta who appear to be part of a problem. Ladd. Buff. Toby. Stuart. Trade then if you can and do it now. We aren't contenders... we aren't a bubble team. Right now don't care what the record Is... we are the worst team in our division. Outscored like 30 13 in last 5 games. That's just awful and change needs to happen. Real change. Time to send a message that this isn't acceptable. Benching Chiarot or whoever doesn't send a message... trading buff Ladd or others does. Firing a coach sends the message that it's not the players that are the problem. It's time for a culture change and it begins with moving guys left over from Atlanta. LOL. every team goes through stretches of the season where they struggle, Jets are doing it now. It is what it is. It's hockey, no team wins every game... and if the season ended today the Jets would be in the playoffs... Need to step back from the ledge and realize that this year might in fact be one of those one steps back to take 2 or 3 steps forward next year type of years.. Ladd,Buff,Perreault, Thorburn,Burmi,Stuart? Yup and replace them with who exactly? Sorry it don't work like that... Eventually some of these guys might get dealt, but not all of them that's for sure. Stuart seems to be the fans whipping boy but he hasn't been nearly as bad as trouba or chiarot .

I think if we have truly learned one thing about Mike O'shea, it's that he will not throw players under the bus in public, he's said it multiple times even, I'm not sure why some people have issues with that... Don't kid yourself, MOS recognizes the problems too, he's just not gonna come out and throw anyone under the bus, Neither did walters really, He just said that certain areas, all areas need to improve and you know what, He's right.. Every GM would say that too, Even Calgary and Hamilton and the best teams in the league are always looking to improve, Just cuz MOS doesn't come out and name names and throw people under the bus, doesn't mean he doesn't recognize the problems... MOS seems to be learning from his past mistakes, he fire bellefeuille pretty quickly after the season ended, he obvious recognized the O was a problem. Walters didn't exactly name names either... he mentioned positions and how they'd like to improve on some... He didn't say "this guy" sucked, he said we need to get better at these positions... specifically DL and Receiver.. He didn't name names. The only guy he half threw under the bus was Brohm when he said, he pissed his chance away.
