They are 11 and 18 with McDavid in the line up I believe. Still not good enough. 1 player doesn't make a difference at all. Penguins finished 1 point out of last place with Crosby in his rookie year. Good players can play on bad teams. And that's the keyword here, Team, McDavid is just 1 guy.

Poolman is an interesting prospect, He can play both LHD and RHD and even has played some forward. He's a big kid.. a little older i believe but.. he is interesting to say the least. Not sure what his upside is exactly, it could very well be Buff, keep in mind, when Buff was drafted he was taken in a very late round, 6th maybe even 7th round at the time... Poolman, think he probably spends time with the Moose next year but he could very well become a pretty good d man.

Scheif certainly has all the traits you look for in a captain... I could see him getting the C. Wheeler would probably get an A tho, and it wouldn't shock me to see Trouba with the other A.

Teams aren't gonna trade their #1 d men for that pick. That's reality, the best the Oilers could hope for would be a guy like Trouba or Reilly or something like that and even then I doubt those teams trade those guys. Teams aren't in the business of helping the Oilers out.

I'd expect a d man with Chicago pick if we don't draft outside the top 3. I could also see it being traded. Kale Clague not sure if that's how you spell it.. Brandon wheat Kings d man could be available with Chicago pick. It's actually pretty amazing how many d men who are taken in later rounds turn out better than those taken earlier. Buff and Shea Weber are 2 examples of many.

If it's Trouba... the isles are adding. Not the Jets.

Copp is a very good penalty killer. He has a place on this team.

I'd do myers or enstrom for Hamonic since he wants to be here. That's important. Don't care if he's another RHD. Buff Trouba Hamonic as 3 of your top 4 is very good. I think he ends up a Jet. I'm not sure who goes the other way tho. Trouba has way more value

I'll rank the guys in order as of now... 1. Matthews - franchise Center 2. Patrick Laine - goal scoring power forward 3. Pierre Luc Dubois - has number 1 center potential 4. Jesse Pool party Puljujarvi - Compared to Blake Wheeler by some 5. Jacob Chychrun - potential number 1 LHD 6. Alex Nylander - skilled winger. Closer to nik ehlers skill 7. Mathew Tkachuk - lw with some grit. Plays hard but.... almost redundant to the Jets. Aka have no need for him 8. Michael Sergachev - potential to be a very good LHD 9. Olli Juolevi - again big time potential but seems to lack something. Think he's more like Josh Morrissey. By that I mean... he's gonna need some time 10. Clayton Keller - 5 foot 10 center who is putting up Damn good numbers with the USNTDP. Crazy hockey iq and very high end skill. Could be the steal of the draft

Warm weather isn't an issue. Neither is cold. The biggest concern in mid to late October would be rain. That would definitely mess with things. Not knowing the day yet but mid to late Oct could be anywhere from -5 to plus 15

I don't think petan is ready yet. De Leo deserves a chance. He's busted his ass big time. Hard worker good defensively and can score. He's the guy I'd call up for sure. Petan needs time to work on his speed and d game more

Burmis time with the Jets will come to and end this summer. He will be an add on to a bigger trade. Maybe to Tampa as an add on for Drouin. Myers Burmi for Drouin

Chase De Leo deserves to be called up but since Maurice has a say it will be Cormier. De Leo or Raffl are the 2 guys I'd like to sew called up. Either or. Prefer De Leo cuz he deserves to be. Petan gains nothing from playing 4th line minutes

What do you expect copp to do playing 7 minutes a Night exactly. Points aren't the only thing that matters for players. Copp is our best face off guy and he is very very good defensively.
