If they aren't picking top 4... they will take one of those 6 and personally I'd go with a d man. Whoever interviews and tests better of the 3 there. Ceilings are similar

Be nice to have a top 2 pick and won't find out where they pick until April 30th so not gonna go on about it 2 much. WI say tho. For those who want us to take a LHD with our first pick... think it's more likely we take one if our pick is between 5 and lets say 10.. Top 4. It's Matthews Laine Puljujarvi or Dubois and I don't even think that's debatable. There are 4 very good players in this draft... those are the 4. Then you have a bunch of guys who have similar ceilings. Tkachuk Nylander Keller. Chychrun Sergachev Juolevi. There's no doubt if Jets pick top 4 they will pick one of Matthews Laine Puljujarvi or Dubois. 5 or higher.... pretty much take your pick. I'd go d man if our pick was 5 or higher

I guess, If i was drafting this year, I'd probably be looking at getting a couple D men, i think that's where Chicagos Pick and or 2nd Comes in, Probably see 2 D with those picks, Names to look at include Klague from Brandon and LuJo that's RyJo's brother, LHD prospect 2016 draft. i don't think they trade a first and a second to move up cuz i think at 25 and 35 you can take 2 d men that you need. Why trade up for just 1 lol, when your prospect pool is so thin on D, Jets keep Chicago 1st and our 2nd and take 2 d men with those 2 picks.

Speaking of prospects, I've read some news that Jamie Phillips may not be offered a contract by the Jets, He's a goalie prospect. They do have interest in an unsigned undrafted goalie tho out of Providence, I want to say Nick Ellis is his name, They might sign him instead. We are weak on the LHD side of things and on the Right side of things also... Stacked at forward prospects, not so much at D in general. Poolman is interesting, he probably could turn PRO if he wanted, but... I'm not sure he's a JET next year, Our LHD side is weak for sure but... He'd be a Moose, And to leave College to go play for the Moose? I dunno about that one. He might be better off playing another year in the college. Connor? Connors a JET next year or he's with Michigan still..Bottom line, he ain't turning pro to go play for the Moose.

In the EAST, he'd probably have a long career also. Less injuries probably. He's good but he might be 2 small for the WEST actually, Lots of injuries since the team moved to the Western Conference. Makes you wonder, He's a very good d man tho, If he was 6'2 6'3 yeah... But he's pretty small. And in the WEST, the guys are much bigger for sure. I'm fine with him staying or going, i just think trading him East could possibly extend his career and cut back on the injuries.

I think Enstrom is traded. When? Who knows. All I know is that the whole LHD rhd thing is overblown. If your 4 best d men are all right handed... 2 of them can play the left... 2 play the right. Don't see Enstrom here for much longer. Paid a fair bit and his production has dropped off quite noticeably the last couple years. He's also not that young anymore. I dunno. Trading Enstrom and stafford saves you almost 10 million bucks. That's a lot of cash for 2 guys who are basically just stop gaps

Poolman definitely needs AHL time. No doubt about it. He is very versatile tho. Can play both rhd and LHD and even some forward

Like I said before they won't lose all of their remaining games. They probably will lose more than they win for sure tho. Jets usually play well against the kings. Wouldn't surprise me if they get a point this game. You know... with a tiny bit of puck luck the jets the last month now could have won way more games. They aren't as bad as some think they are and they certainly aren't as bad as Vancouver Edmonton Toronto

They apparently have a consensus top 4 Matthews Laine Puljujarvi Dubois is what most feel the consensus top 4 for the Jets is. After that it's anyone's guess. I seriously doubt that the jets take Chychrun. I don't know why but I just feel because it seems likely that they will have a top 4 pick... that they won't use it on a d man. Center seems likely... Matthews Dubois or even Keller who screams Jets type of pick or a winger like Laine or Puljujarvi. People need to research dubois a bit more and you will see very similar traits that Scheif has. Very similar. He's a jets type of pick and wouldn't surprise me if that is who they take if they aren't picking top 2. Think Matthews and Laine go 1 2 tho.

Not surprised about turner at all. Denmark? A little bit. Good receiver not great but good. I'll miss him but his production on the field will be replaced.

Jets aren't as bad as Vancouver... probably the worst team in the league right now...or Edmonton or Toronto or even Calgary and probably many other teams at the moment. Jets have played well the last 2 3 4 weeks now... they just can't buy a break. This team will be good next season and it don't matter if they pick 1st 2nd 3rd 4th or 6th... 7th 8th... they will get a good player who will turn out to be the steal of the draft.. Call me silly but I don't think they take a LHD if they pick outside the top 4. I think they go BPA and when they pick I'm not convinced BPA will be a d man. Chicago's pick and our 2nd? Go get your d men there or trade up with those 2 and grab one around 15 to 20. Don't think Chychrun Juolevi or Sergachev become Jets

The Canucks are probably the worst team in the league. They haven't scored a goal in 3 games. I could have shut them out. Did pav even have to make a tough save? I don't think so. If not for Markstrom it's 8 9 10 0. Canucks are gonna get a high pick and I'm fine with that. They need a high pick. Their prospect pool doesn't really exist. It's Brock Boeser and Thatcher Demko and that's it. Demko is a goalie so really... they just got Boeser

I wonder if OL is the theme here because, perhaps the other guys, non OL just aren't that good or they aren't that different from one another and I suppose since CFL, and you need to play Canadians, Why not go with the OLine guy instead? It makes sense actually, Guess the talent level isn't there this year? Definitely some talent but perhaps they feel that a lot of these guys ceilings are similar? Hard to say. He's still playing in the tournament. Michigan is still alive. They won the big 10 but now move on to play I almost want to say Farris State. It's on the 25th tho.
