Larkin is a center. Connor is probably gonna be a LW with the Jets. 30 points for Connor in 18 games. So if he keeps the pace he will have Damn near 60 after 35 games
-
Bogo actually said in his interview he didn't tell cox he asked to be traded. I do recall hearing that he wanted to be closer to home tho.
-
Kane interview up on ctv and global. Just confirms he's a ****** lol. Bogo one also. Sorta get the feeling that he also asked to be traded.

Track suits can't hurt you. Helmets can.
-
I don't really care. People can wear what they want but with that being said.... does wearing a track suit in reality support kane? I mean he wore it to a team meeting and buff and others ripped it up and threw it in the shower. I just feel wearing a track suit supports kane. But ya it's harmless fun. Better than those suggesting to chant "no means no"

2 goals 3 assists 5 points for Connor tonight. Jets next season? Maybe but I'd suspect another year altho it's hard to say cuz he's really ripping it up pretty huge time. Basically on the Jack Eichel pace for NCAA rookies and he turned pro the next year so it's possible.

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania

Looks like the move to USA for Smackdown was a success Almost double the rating it got on Sci Fy -
Wow. Way less than 24 hours. Quick.

Tracksuit night is a thing. But if people really want to piss Kane off they will ignore him and go dead quiet when he has the puck. Won't happen cuz people just love to egg the ****** on. Jets lose. Kane scores the winner

I guess maybe people are used to pav flopping around like a fish on the ice trying to make saves. Helle is very good. He's our future and present. Ppl who know more than all of us say he's going to be an elite goalie for a long time. He's boring. Doesn't flop around .. isn't out of position like pav and Hutch for that matter. He's the only reason we aren't dead last in the league. His 5 on 5 save percentage is a remarkable 957. That's unheard of. He's a stud and the best goalie the winnipeg Jets have ever had. He's slow to react? He's outstanding with a gaa under 2 and a crazy save percentage. The guy has given up 2 or less goals in like 10 games.

Report Card Style? K. Goalies Pav is a D + he is what he always has been. A below average starting goalie Hutch is a D. He had a chance to take the number 1 job and run with it and failed Helle gets an A +. He is the only reason we have as many wins as we do. D men Buff gets a B. He's been ok but he should always be an A but isn't. Inconsistent Myers gets a B. Putting up nice numbers and is starting to use his reach more. Trouba gets a B also. He was anchored with Stu for most the season. He's played much better with more minutes. Enstrom gers a C. He's just average in my opinion. Has lost a step and has been taking more penalties Stu. C -. He is what he is. Chiarot. D. expected more. Forwards Little gets a B. Looks lost without Ladd tho. Scheif. B +. Has exceeded my expectations and has become a very good 2 way center Lowry gets a C. Looked awful to start but is much better after being called back Copp gets a B. Yup. He's a 4th line center who is stong defensively and in the face off dept. He is doing his job. Wheeler gets an A +. What needs to be said really. He's our best player. Ehlers gets a B. He's a 19 yr old rookie who looks great when paired with other skilled players. Playing him with Burmi and thorburn really was bad for him. Burmi gets a D. Expected more. Thorburn is a C. He is what he is. Good 4th line guy. Ladd. D almost F. For a guy in a contract year he is playing awful Perreault. B +. Assist Machine. Stafford. B. Putting up nice numbers but struggles in his own zone. The rest aren't graded because they haven't played enough yet.

Game 40 : Jets vs Predators - Requiem

Pavelec is awful tho, He's not good. He's never been good and never will be. I buy him out or trade him and retain some salary if i have 2. Anything to get him away from the Jets and more importantly away from Helle. Jet's don't need him. -

4.5 million dollar back-up? I hope they buy him out this off-season then. Cuz that's way too much. -
It's an odd format. Lots of guys left off. Lots of interesting choices. In my opinion, Artemi Panarin should probably be there also, He's having one hell of a year.. as semi oiler fan, where would they be without Draisatl right now? Hall is good but Draisatl has been spectacular so far. Giordano in Calgary, yeah he's good but Brodie is better. McDonough from NYR, struggling big time this year but he's going. Rinne in Nashville, struggling big time, really poor season so far yet he's going, Dubnyk in Minny, No Parise or Suter from Minny. It's just odd. The list goes on and on. You can look at every division there and you could add and subtract certain players. Kuznetsov in Washington is another guy i feel should be there.
-
I'll take a guess.. Chiefs, Vikings, Packers,Steelers. Cinci Chokes in the playoffs, they are better but the choking factor is huge with those guys.
-
There is no crossover... top 3 teams from each division make it.. Then 2 wild card teams... Dallas,Chicago and St Louis are 1 2 3 in Central La,Arizona and Vancouver are 1 2 3 in Pacific Minny has wildcard spot 1, Nashville has wildcard spot 2 (Minny has 50 points, 1 game in hand on the Jets, Nashville has 45 (1 game in hand on the Jets) Those are your 8 teams if the playoffs started tomorrow. I guess you can look at it this way... Jets have played 41 games and have 41 points.. They are 21st overall in the league right now... However... Calgary is 1 point behind them with 1 game in hand Anaheim and Toronto are 2 points behind them with 2 games in hand.... Carolina has 39 points after 41 games... San Jose has played 38 games and have 38 points, 3 points behind the Jets with 3 games in hand..Oilers have 37 points in 41 games (no McDavid yet) Sabres and Jackets seem to be lost causes, Not sure Jets can catch those 2 bottom feeders but the rest... they are all with in striking distance... Jets have 41 points, ranked 21st but... after some teams behind them in the standings actually get to 41 games, Jets could easily be ranked 27th overall in the league.. well, 26th i guess since Oilers Sabres and Jackets all have a few less points with basically the same games played (Only Buffalo has played less games and it's only 1 less game) Lol. Jets are basically 4 points away from being bottom 3, however they are also 4 points away from being tied with Nashville for a wildcard spot.
-
Yup. They would need to go on quite the run to reach that 91 92 point total... And that's just a rough guess as to what I think it might take to make it. It could be more and I don't think it will be less. I think they miss the playoffs by a significant amount. With that being said, I think they finish with more points than probably 1 maybe 2 of the pacific teams who do make the playoffs. Yup. St Louis, Dallas,Chicago,Minny,Nashville all are in right now. La, Arizona and Vancouver right now from the Pacific are in right now. Jets have 41 points. So does Vancouver.
-
Riders aren't as good as some expect them to be. Jones Flops a bit. Esks aren't as good either. Lions are the worst team in the league Calgary struggles more than normall Bombers are the surprise of the year and host a playoff game at IGF

Game 40 : Jets vs Predators - Requiem

You know those spectacular saves PAV makes? You know why he makes them? because he's out of position lots. Helle isn't. Helle is the better goalie and has the brighter future. There is no goalie controversy, The only goalie controversy would be... Who do you send down or trade... Hutch or Pav... Right now, I'd say you try to move Pav only because he's making 2 much cash to be a back up. -
I'm not a big Toews fan boy but the guy is very good and with that being said, He has scored multiple game winning OT goals himself this year also.
-
I don't disagree with that. But i think it's as simple as it's a popularity contest. Barrie isn't popular, Wheeler isn't either. Buff is. Duchene is. Who is Tyson Barrie? Yeah some of us might know who he is but... do the masses? I'm not sure. I guess Wheeler is right when he said it's a popularity contest cuz Matt Duchene is definitely well known.
-
I'd agree with a semi tank, however, i think they would need to deal ladd and buff (think they will if they aren't signed by closer to the trade deadline regardless of where they are in the standings). I think they would also need some injuries, Little,Wheeler,Scheif and Helle i think. Helle is so good that he himself will keep the Jets somewhat respectable. I do think they will trade Ladd or and Buff, (the more i think about it, the more I think both are dealt) regardless of where they are in the standings if they aren't signed because you just can't risk losing them for nothing in the off-season. Chipman has already said they can't lose them for nothing so tells me they are either signed or traded regardless. \ I think 91 let's say 92 points might get you a playoff spot (wildcard). Jets have 41 after 41 games. They would need to win 25 or 26 of their remaining 41 games to get to 91 92 points. I don't think they can do that. This teams much like the bombers have yet to show that they can win back to back games this year, they need to go on a huge streak and i just don't see it happening at all. Something is wrong in the locker room and i don't think it's this "youth movement" which basically only involves ehlers, copp and armia now. 3 guys dragging them down that much? I don't think so. I don't consider Burmi to be part of this because he's not a rookie.

Yup. Good enough for yet another 8 to 14 pick. Woo Hoo. However, The one silver lining here, If you want to go glass half full I suppose, THe Jets have played 24 road games already meaning they only have 17 or so more road games to go in the second half of the season, Teams in front of them like Nashville for example have played mostly home games and have yet to actually play many games vs the Central, The Jets have and most of those Central games have actually been on the road. The silver lining is the Jets have plenty of home games left while most other teams play on the road where their records aren't nearly as good. The Jets have been very good at home. Also i believe they only have 3 back to back games left this year. Silver lining. However, I do feel they aren't good enough to make the playoffs, even tho i feel unlike last year where you needed like almost 100 points to get in, you might only need 91 or 92 but... that means the Jets have to win, well, they have 41 points right now i believe. Yes 41 with 41 games to go. They would need to win at least 25 of those games to get to 91 points... seeing as how they play 24 home games and 17 road games, I think it's somewhat possible to get to 91 92 points but... they'd pretty much have to basically win every game at home to do it... I think they are a .500 team so i think they finish with 82 - 85 points. Good enough for probably an 8 to 14 pick unless injuries happen, then perhaps they can bottom out a bit.
