Goltz couldn't throw. Boltus was just terrible and Elliot was an enigma of sorts... perhaps had the tools but lacked the toolbox

I like O'shea approach to games. Reality is last week was last week. Hamilton is a different team than Edmonton. It's easy to say go do what you did last week tonight buy because they are different teams... what they did last week might not work on Hamilton. Need to be patient. Establish a run game. Short quick passes to keep the Hamilton D off a bit. Then go deep. Basically do what they did last game to Hamilton. I think the rah rah stuff is over rated. It comes down to execution. The players know what they need to do. O'shea can't do it for them

I think the benching of a starter and especially the QB is a wake up call for the rest of the players to step up their games.

Who the heck was ever defending pavelec. And how in God's name does comparing a goalie to a QB make any sense anyway? I would say in this case tho.... Nichols is Pavelec. Well the arbitrator who reduced his suspension did. Like I said tho... pretty hard to prove. Big time ****** move by Wideman but what if he legit had no idea what he was doing? I mean I've had a concussion or 3 or 4 and besides the first one where I was basically out like a light... falling off a bike head first on to concrete does that.... the other ones I thought I was fine but 20 seconds later... I certainty wasn't. So who really knows. The only person who knows for sure is Wideman. I'd suspect that he was somewhat concussed. I think he was fully aware of what he was doing at the time cuz he obviously knew how to make it back to the bench... question is did he know it was the ref tho? Who really knows
