Thought this could be an interesting little topic... finding out interesting fun facts about some of our future Jets players I'll start Eric Comries Dad owns the Brick and has a net worth of 415 million dollars.

1. Get rid of the challenging of plays away from the ball, like for example, you can't challenge pass interference on Dressler if the ball was thrown to smith on the other side of the field, has nothing to do with the play, That needs to stop. 2. Put a 60 second clock on the replay system, if in 60 seconds you can't determine if it's a penalty or not, the call on the field stands. That's about all I'd do. And maybe, just maybe, if you lose a challenge, not only do you lose a timeout but you also get a delay of game penalty and a 10 yard penalty on the play let's say. PI should be blatant also and obvious. None of this chincy stuff that they call some games and don't call other games. Other than that, Just leave it be...

maybe by a tiny amount if anything, i thought i heard like 50,000 or even less it goes up every year or something, maybe not tho but still... I guess, the point in all this, Nichols doesn't deserve to be paid anything close to what the real elite franchise QB's in this league make. If he wants 450,000 and he's willing to die on that hill, Then, i think, we need to perhaps accept the fact that Matt Nichols won't be a bomber next season and if it's because he wants 450,000 and the bombers don't want to give that to him, I'm fine with that.

I mean, Darvin Adams is a free agent and so are several other important pieces on the team, I mean, let's just say they give Nichols his 450,000 (they won't) but assume they do, Where do you find the savings, who gets the axe? who are you forced to let go? Cuz it will be somebody for sure if not 2 or 3 guys.

Montreal gave up a 1st for Adams. Nichols ain't starting there. Toronto gave up a 1st for Willy plus They have Ray still. Nope. Sask? Jones sent him packing once and doubt will pay him 450 K or close. . Nichols had a good year but he's not even close to being in that elite level. So shouldn't be paid like he is.

Nichols is not in the elite level like BLM Reilly Burris Colaros Jennings even. He's probably near the bottom in terms of starters. He's a good system QB tho. Say what you want about Lapo but he used Nichols to the best of his abilities.

I'll bet Mo's job is somewhat on the line. I don't think it's guaranteed he's back next year. It's not a guarantee he's gone either but... if the team continues to suck on the PP PK take lazy penalties and he keeps messing with the lines every 2nd period.... he could be gone sooner rather than later. Jets have some legit systematic issues. I'll say it... Maurice is a decent coach for a team who is big physical and veteran heavy. I'm not sure that he's the best coach for a young skilled team

Lawless reported weeks weeeeeks ago that the Jets were shopping Burmi. The fact that it's now weeeeeeeeks later and he's still a jet suggests no interest so therefore you waive him.. if you lose him oh well His value is nothing... a wasted roster spot. I always thought that the first step in waiving Burmi would be shopping him around to zero interest. He's got zero interest. Next step... waivers
