4th line doesn't get much ice and have actually been pretty lackluster the last couple of games when they do get ice. I think at this point I'd sit Stafford... took a really lazy penalty late last night in the Tampa zone away way away from the play and play thorburn I'd strongly consider sending 1 ot both of petan and Copp down to Manitoba and bringing up Howden and someone else cuz I honestly don't see how playing 4th line minutes is good for 2 young guys who still could be developing and playing a lot more minutes with Manitoba

Why not let Tanev develop in the A for a bit and just play Thor instead of Stafford

We have better than league average goaltending from helle 5 on 5. Our PK kills us tho. It's legit cost us games and almost cost us another tonight. I remember plenty of games that we have lost because our PK is almost dead last. You give us a average PK... we probably have 5 or 6 more wins if not more... there was a stretch where helle didn't let in a 5 on 5 goal for 2 games and we went 1 and 1. Our PK is our downfall and will be the reason we miss the playoffs

Certain things are off limits I feel. What someone says at a game in the heat of the moment... I'd consider that off limits. I'd actually consider it almost tabloid type national enquirer stuff. Regardless of what Chipman said... it's off limits. There is this thing called mutual respect and I have always felt that our media outside of a couple guys now don't really understand what that means. They feel that they can **** on teams players coaches and justify it by saying that's my job. But thats not how it works and it really isn't their job. If you actually listen to O'shea or Maurice talk in their media availabilities... you can hear the respect they have for certain guys (Bauming Penton Wiebe even Hamilton ) and the outright disdain they rightfully have for guys like Wicek and Friesen who constantly crap on them and their team. Welcome to 2017. Where people don't really give a crap about what guys like Wicek and Friesen have to say because 1. We have heard it all before 2. We have ways of getting the info we want ourselves and 3. Bottom line really... who reads a paper anymore. If I'm Wicek and Friesen and these guys. I think very long and hard next time I decide to crap on teams or coaches cuz in a couple of years when I'm unemployed because print media is dead.... you will have pissed the people you could be working for off.

Tampa dominated for periods of the game. Helle was very very good especially in the first and the 3rd for that matter. Yeah. Tampa scored a few in the third but helle made some huge saves. Didn't like the play of the 4th line at all and Postma and Chiarot. Everyone else was pretty solid. Buff coasting back in to our zone last on the 2nd Tampa goal. Still odd coaching decisions like stafford on the PP and PK and a very passive PK in general. But a good rebound game after a very lackluster effort against the Islanders
