Well... when on your 5 game losing skid you score 6 goals in total... Goaltending isn't the problem. Jets scored 1 goal in 4 games and 2 vs Philly. You can't and won't win games if you can't score more than 1 or 2 goals a game. Today? Sure. Jets were dominated and helle stood on his head .... don't care if it's price Lundqvist Holtby whoever.... they can't stand on their head every game. Helle is good. Hopefully the O starts to score more tho. If they do... they will win more. Chevy will be here many years after Maurice is gone. I don't think you really understand what the Jets are doing. Drafting and Developing takes time. Especially when your prospect cupboard was empty not long ago. The oilers got a franchise player and finished worse than the Jets last year. Buffalo finished about the same as the Jets. These rebuilds take time. Toews and Kane weren't superstars in year 1. It takes time. Chevy will be here for as long as he wants to be. Not 1 expert expected the Jets to make the playoffs this season. Not 1. Vegas odds makers didn't expect them to either. They were expected to be a playoff bubble team with a healthy roster and probably still will be a playoff bubble team when it's all said and done this season

How do you blame goaltending when you score 8 goals in 5 games. For the Jets to have won 3 games on this 5 game trip... the goalie would have needed a shutout. Blaming goaltending is BS and an excuse. 1 goal scored maybe 2 if we are lucky. Benching Laine Scheif Wheeler. Putting thorburn and Burmi out with 2 minutes to go down by 1 or more in games. Maurice gave up tonight. When he benched scheif wheeler and Laine he gave up. What message is he sending? That if you suck like buff stu and Thor you get to play but if you have 1 penalty you bench the whole line?

With a healthy team with not as good goaltending... Jets were 10 10 3 after 23 games last year. Guys who are injured won't make a huge difference at all. Because you know that guys like Petan (Solid game) Dano (best forward tonight) and Copp (86% on the draw) will be sent down and thorburn Stuart and the other crappy players like Burmi won't be. The coaching is just not good enough. Why doesn't Maurice have the balls to put buff on the bench. He was on the ice for EVER goal against and has been awful. Why isn't Stuart on the bench after being Stuuuu pid. It's coaching.

Connor and Tanev were pretty good tonight. But sure blame rookies. Buff has sucked and was on the ice for all 5 goals. Maybe 4 but 2 or 3 were a direct result of buff sucking. Stuart needs to go.
