I agree with your concerns over Bighill... but the team is clearly looking to start grooming LB replacements... we have 5 new American LBs and 2 new Global LBs in camp this year... I'd expect one or two of those Americans to stick around and hopefully start earning some playing time.... plus Cole could still be in line for the WIL spot if Wilson has injuries... plus if I recall, I believe this Max Charbonneau kid out of of Ottawa comes with some pedigree and people were excited to see what he brings (I could be thinking of someone else)

Agreed. I'm friends with Jim & his comments are disappointing as he's totally in the wrong. The only way to change attitudes is to exert pressure on those making these questionable decisions.
Unfortunately, it took public outcries from fans, media & female employees to make the Argos reverse course from their stupid decision of letting Kelly practice. Then, to use the "CFL said it's up to us" as an excuse was so outlandish. Yes, they may be correct interpreting the CBA that it's their decision but to everyone else the decision was wrong.
I agree that Barker could be replaced as an analyst on TSN. I don't understand why Barker stuck his neck out when it would have been smarter just to shut up & say nothing. Dave Naylor, Farhan Lalji haven't said a word. Milt Stegall has only said that the Kelly Affair is "serious business". But he never gave an opinion.

I've been trying to figure out the snaps where it looks like Kramdi is playing safety. I think it's actually Nichols who they're moving to safety. It's during the skeleton period so it's very tough to tell.

I wouldn't look too much into the guys who "started" first day of TC. Between injuries and departures it's all about continuity. So they plug in the guys with the most experience while rookies learn. Up to the first pre season game we will see lots of guys cycled through and guys will get a chance to pick it up and play more. 

DT had 10 Canadian starter on the day 1 TC starting line up... I think we can safely assume (or desperately hope) that this will not be the game 1 starting line up... I wouldn't mind if we go 8 with Lawson and Ford potentially starting on D

Players will get paid for promo appearances, that doesn’t mean some players won’t still volunteer their time and that doesn’t mean businesses won’t pay other players for things they do on their own.

I feel like some of you are overthinking this. It can be anything the Bombers want to pay them for. Players will still make numerous unpaid appearances for things like “I love to read month”.

If I were a wagering man I would suggest that after all the media uproar about Kelly being there, some tall forehead at MLSE phoned Pinball and asked him WTF were you thinking.

I see validity in both your points. Thinking back to what it was to be a bomber fan in the past two dark ages this would be crushing. Even with that I and many others defended Harris during his ped positive test not long ago. (His claim was very valid but we never did hear about his independent testing of the allegedly tainted supplement) 
 with that said, the whole victim blaming culture is such a big toxic issue in society right now, the regressive attitudes are much worse on this. Not to mention the victim suffered directly, Harris either way didn’t victimize people. 
 Some of the defences and devils advocate positions has come off really gross with Kelly. Guilt or not, just some real ick factor stuff. 
 
I hope all this in the end helps some of those people to see the importance of protecting alleged victims and treating them appropriately. Some times good people get wrapped up on the wrong side of disputes. It’s certainly happened to me in the past. 
 I still think bluto is good people and a good poster. 

so....after a lengthy independant investigation....subsequant suspension handed down, and now Pinball saying that the Team does not deny/dispute the allegations in his presser....safe to say Kelly was lying now...the trainer was not, and justified, and as per Pinballs own comments the team itself has lots of work to do, and needs to look within itself to make sure this never occurs again.....so safe to say the he says...she says narrative was debunked?....and its actually 100 percent accurate now

This is completely unrelated to the point I was making... Bluto is very confused why she would want to continue working for the Argos despite being harassed at work... suggesting the onus is on the employee to leave rather than the organization to rectify the issue
