Its about getting more people in seats to come see the music act, and hoping a percentage of them will enjoy the football and game enough to come back for more.
You complain about the CFL and TSN not doing enough to attract new fans and grow the game.  Here is BC trying something to grow their fan base and bring in people who wouldn't normally come to a football game, but that apparently is also problematic.  🤷

Totally agree with this... I think we start the season:
Jefferson-Fox-Woods-Haba, with Thomas, Schmekel, and Garbutt/Rivers forming a 7 man rotation.

I don’t see that at all, to be honest. I don’t think the Bombers do either. MCI is a utility player, they’re hoping he fills a role like a Kalinic.
His most productive college season was significantly less productive than Oliveira‘s least productive, his career YPC is not good and he caught exactly one pass in college. I think anyone who thinks he’s here to be a running back is fooling themselves.

That would be a great change. I think adjusting the amount of injured roster guys you can have would be good too. If teams want to over do it and hurt their own ability to handle camps it’s on them. 
 Id say let players 1-2 years service or less be on a short term ir, can’t practice but can be at team meetings be practice too. Vets don’t need that stuff as much. 
 
I like the idea, but the team travel cost as pointed out would be bad and bad blood especially with a few certain teams would be an issue imo. 

I would add a full padded contact practice for teams to have a real scrimmage game as well. Not a full game, maybe like 8 possessions or one half timed. 
4 games of pre season is way too much trash football. And it puts guys at a greater risk of injury in meaningless action. 2 games isn’t enough with the low impact nature of practice and tc now. 

Are you forgetting they fired Dickenson and hired Mace?.... while it's yet to be seen if Mace will be a good, or even competent, coach... I wouldn't call it chaos at this point...

There's simply a larger pool to draw from. 
It's infinitely easier to find an American who can come in and offer more athletically than it is to find a Canadian of similar skill.  Don't get me wrong, I love the CFL, in part, because of the Canadians in it but I wouldn't lose sleep if starting fewer Canadians meant we were able to build and maintain a deeper, more complete roster.

I’ll eat crow with a smile on my face if he turns out to be the every down pocket pusher  we’ve been missing. Just give us a monster DT and I’ll be happily wrong any day.
