bearpants replied to bb.king's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm not sure where you're getting blue pants from?? unless I missed something... -
Kyle Walters interview in the WPG. SUN.
bearpants replied to Fatty Liver's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I know some people think O'Shea should be calling out guys after every play but I strongly believe the second point I highlighted leads directly to the first point... the rest of the answer is fluff but I liked that one part... -

Is that seriously how you read that or are you just trying to stir the pot for fun? -

I think we found the source -
If I didn't know any better, based on their names I'd think these two receivers were straight out of the sixties...

According to Darrin Bauming, Keeping is on a 1-year deal... Don't know about Goossen and Neufeld...

Bombers mini camp in Wpg Apr 25-27 open to public
bearpants replied to Taynted_Fayth's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Is Bauming just speculating these changes, or does he have some inside knowledge?... he also commented on twitter that the team sees Waggoner as a LB and not the replacement at safety... EDIT: Bombers website lists Waggoner as a DB... not sure if that means anything, just an observation... -

If that's the case, 200k for the next 10 years will be peanuts compared to making 100k for the next 40 years... -

I agree with you that we should expect him to be more than a special teamer over his career... but I'm willing to let him learn in his first season... -
Fingers crossed it might be Kyle Connor... hopefully we'll have the answer in the next few years...

We be tankin' it (official tanking thread) ...
bearpants replied to IC Khari's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Dammit Jets... you're an embarrassment to the proud (recent) tradition of tanking the NHL... putting in great efforts and beating quality team you have no business beating... I'm so disappointed in you... -
Toronto now controls their own destiny... if they can tank one more game they lock up the 30th overall spot... which is all moot anyways... let's be honest, we all know Edmonton is getting the first overall pick again...

It's not like Doug knows the CEO or anything... -
Also a good example of more is better with draft picks...
-
essentially he says if the O-line plays better, Willy is kept healthy through offensive game planning, and the new guys fit in, the bombers will have a good season... won't find many people here disputing that...

Just taking a look at the Bombers official site... looks like Greg Knox has moved to DB coach and Glen Young is officially the LB coach... no mention of Paul Boudreau yet... is LaPo as the WR coach confirmed? -
Jared* Goff... but otherwise you make a good point that I think most would agree with... the neg lists need to be public... there's no advantage to the teams or the players keeping these secret...

https://twitter.com/BlueBomberTalk/status/715903258657558529 Is this an April Fools joke? Haha I never even thought of that... just thought "never hurts to have extra Cdns in camp"...

I think you're taking this "bottomless pit of money" concept far too literally... however, you do have some good points about our continued mediocrity and the one consistent factor... -
my bad, I must have misread it... it probably said when he entered the draft...
-
Read somewhere (possibly sportsnet) that he was 5'10, 150 lbs when he was drafted 4 years ago at 18 years-old.... grew two inches and 30 lbs since then...

My thoughts on the republican national convention gun issue... I would feel much safer at a giant convention knowing not one single person (security aside, obviously) is carrying a firearm...

I agree with you... I thought Jeremy Irons did a great job but he seemed too young and "hip" to be Alfred... he needs to be more of a father figure, like you mentioned... According to IMDB, he is not one of the confirmed actors yet... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0974015/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast
