  1. Rick Campbell might be available for a coordinator job next year ala Tim Burke.
  2. Am I the only one that saw the Stamps DB's passing around a joint in the second half??? Based on this quote alone, I'm not entirely sure who's passing around the joint. I'm a bit selfish, I only pass from my right hand to my left, than back again.
  3. I agree, Grigsby wants to quit screw him, don't set him free to find a job with a competitor. All together different scenario with Alex Suber and Will Ford, they deserved the opportunity to continue their careers if they couldn't be accommodated here. I'd venture to say that Marcel may have designed a position around Grigsby's skills similar to Durie's if he would have had the patience to stick around until next year.
  4. Because of the hype when he came to the Als. Smith probably had a burdensome contract well beyond the usual for a CFL-green QB. I think Sask. would be smart to put him on their PR and see if they can't make something out of him, by the time Durant retires he just might be ready.

  6. This is correct. If correct, doesn't the same thing apply to Grigsby?
  7. That's another good point, most rookies are smart enough to shut up and eat their corn flakes, happy in the fact that they're getting paid to play football. Better yet if the coach asks you not to play but you're still getting paid.
  8. Kids, pay attention, this is a valid demonstration of the effects of inertia, momentum and crack..
  9. Good, gives something to watch for in the next few games instead of worrying about the score.
  10. Heard this discussion awhile ago on the CJOB pre-game show. They were talking about how Grigsby was having a lot of success early-mid season as an outlet receiver until other teams caught onto it and after that he was basically shut down. I think the stats. back this up, ever since Labour day Grigsby has not caught a lot of balls.
  11. I think Montreal is a more likely destination, if there is any destination for Grigsby. Whittaker is on the 6 game IR and the're down to Sutton..
  12. Obviously this guy has progressed faster than Anderson.
  13. Tell that to Stephen Harper.
  14. Mommy, please tell me again why I can't have a cookie before supper???
  15. Happy to see Suber doing well in T.O., worked out well for both parties in that situation.
  16. I would like to think Wpg. fans are too knowledgeable to ever boo Willy.
  17. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bombers taking away players Twitter freedom next year to better control "the message".
  18. A team desperate for a back like Hamilton might take a flier on him. Or a team desperate for someone who can catch the ball like Ottawa may use him as a receiver. A team desperate for a back like Hamilton might take a flier on him. Or a team desperate for someone who can catch the ball like Ottawa may use him as a receiver. Haha! Let's hope it's Ottawa! It won't be anybody. I can almost guarantee it, Ottawa has 2 pretty good backs, that williams guy is pretty good and i don't see any other teams picking him up.. who? maybe BC but i doubt it, there oline is as bad as ours. Als are a possibility with Brandon Whittaker on the 6 game.

  20. Well well well, sounds like Korey Banks #2 has been outed. Don't be surprised if no other CFL teams pick him up. How is he going to explain quitting after sitting one game to those teams?
  21. We have found a witch!
  22. You might want to change your name to Rapunzel.
  23. Etch has probably blown his last golden opportunity in the CFL. It makes you wonder why some people have no instinct for survival. O'Shea can no longer honestly defend those defencive schemes.
  24. This certainly concerned me from the start with O'Shea as his realm of influence seemed very small. He lured Kuale, Romby and JFG from his past but missed out on a player like Swayze Waters who was a F.A. last year and right under his nose. We have the best kicker in the CFL. I'll give Walters huge credit for that signing. Not quite, Waters is the best kicker in the league but that's not the point. I was speaking to O'Shea's lack of influence over players and coaches.
