That's ridiculous considering the way he played last year and so far in TC. If anything, Brohm should be the odd man out, or relegated to third or fourth stringer duty. He's completely immobile and lacks accuracy. There's nothing about him that's attractive except a strong arm. I obviously don't share the same confidence in how well Marve reads defences as you do, or how good he's looked in TC...in training camp. This is why he has to show progress in any chance he gets in pre-season games. Listen, I like the way Marve ad-libbed his way through his playing time last year, but I don't want my QBs to always be scrambling to make plays if he's missed his reads. Marve wants to leave next year, and if Portis and Yantz show well in their time, it wouldn't bother me to see Marve leave earlier. If hes always running for his life then ya its a problem. But hes not a pocket passer so maybe his reaction to what he sees is different and wants to move to make time or get himself in a better position. You have to consider the context of the situation Marve was thrown into. By seasons end Willy looked bloody awful waiting for the inevitable pocket collapse. Marve had other options and he took advantage of them. Give him an O-line that can provide a few seconds to find a receiver and we'll see how well he does. In the upcoming pre-season games it's going to be critical that they give the 3 backups enough playing time to sort the pecking order out. Both Brohm and Marve deserve a solid half to show their wares and weaknesses.

Think Oscar Pistorius.....it could be pretty entertaining especially if he carries a gun.

No cameras, no streams, simple as that.

Maybe Kyle can get Hervey to give him the moon for Greaves. No can do, "the moon" left for the NFL a few years back.

Another option is sending him back to school to get his degree.

Day 6 interviews are up on the Bomber site. http://www.bluebombers.com/video/index I have to wonder if Stoudermire has the physicality needed to play defence.

From the tweets about his burning speed, you would think so, but all I could find was 4.52 40 as his low time. Don't look to facts, Rod Black calls him "Speedy B" for good reason. Rod is the authority.

Looking forward to the pre-season games to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Tuinei has the advantage of size over everyone other than Reaves, I wouldn't discount that in the decision making. Being able to assist in blocking when the ball is thrown elsewhere is an important skill often overlooked in receivers.

Korey Banks sues the CFL for $200 million

Speaking of lawsuits, what became of the action filed by Arland Bruce last year? -
Paul McCallum's "personal matter" is an aversion to running.

I really hope they start two import RB's for every game, mixes it up, keeps them fresh and increases competition on the field as they try to out perform each other. The Bombers promised "thunder and lightning" but not sure how that is going to translate into reality at this point.

I figure it's going to come down to Willy and the performance he puts out. If he hasn't progressed beyond last year you can mark it up as 0-1. I thought Willy played well in last years LDC. Bombers lost all 3 games to the R.R. so he didn't play well enough to beat them.

Valid point but at the same time, I'm not convinced Neufeled would be rostered as the 6th olineman if he wasn't starting. Hypothetical here. Bryant,Greaves,Picard,Chung,Daniels. Might make more sense to have Goossen as the 6th as he can play guard and center, Chung could probably swing out to tackle if need be too. I like Neufeld but if he can't stay healthy and well if he isn't healthy, he's as good as gone in my opinion, one way or the other... Personally, i'd prefer to trade him cuz surely we could get something back in return. At this point I believe every team would be skeptical about Neufeld's health and his contract so I doubt the Bombers could get anything for him. If they need another National backup bring back Morley at a reduced rate.

Riders have live streaming of their T.C. every day. C'mon Bombers don't let those ******* show us up. http://www.riderville.com/riderslive

Interesting that a number of other CFL teams are practising without pads early in T.C. and easing players into the hitting aspect. Something to be said for acclimatizing and preserving bodies, especially for proven commodities like Bryant.

Talk of derailing reminds me of one of my favorite old-timey wrestlers, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Man that guy was awesome. I won't flame you, I'll just ask why you care so much. Their ailments are none of your business and a lot of the teams have adopted a "say nothing" approach because some injuries (or reasons they have to sit out) are personal and when they reveal details of some, but not others, it's easy to cherry pick who might have hemorrhoids or a herpes outbreak instead of just an ankle sprain. But seriously - who the hell cares what a guy has that is bothering him. Personally, I don't care what the injury is... but knowing the time-frame would be nice... This I can get behind. Is Richards ever going to see a football field again???? Ever?? Never.
