Bomber Camp Day #1 rating the best/worst
Fatty Liver replied to TuscaloosaBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
After reading riderfans for the first time in a while, he clearly is trolling these boards. I assume he was the guy that was just banned since only he has so much time to post long winded nonsense. Lyle's post on Addison Richards has actually been the leading topic on the R.F. board all day. He's got them so distracted they're paying more attention to him than the Riders T.C. in Saskatoon. Hilarious! -
Sorry can't make it, I have a date with a real babe. She goes by the name "Caitlyn"

I could be wrong but I believe this Tuscaloosa fellow was posting on this site or the other Bomber site for a short while last spring. I believe he has some ties with U.S. college ball and even did some guest coaching or has taken coaching seminars in college if I remember correctly. Anyhow, it's the same old schtick insisting only his opinion is valid and everyone else's is garbage. I don't mind the opinions but there is really no need to put down opposing views or insult to prove a point.

Here is an itinerary of things I did not know about Chad Rempel. Rempel played three years of university football with the Saskatchewan Huskies football team and was drafted in the third round of the CFL Canadian draft in 2004 by the Edmonton Eskimos, only to be released on June 5. In 2005, Rempel was invited to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' training camp, but was also released. Later that year, he joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a backup wide receiver and special teams player. On June 10, 2006, Rempel was cut by the Blue Bombers in training camp. Rempel was later signed by the Toronto Argonauts on August 2. On March 22, 2009, Rempel was a member of Lyndon Rush's bobsleigh team that won the Canadian four-man bobsleigh championship in Whistler, British Columbia.[1] Rempel was re-signed by the Montreal Alouettes on June 7, 2009. He was released on June 11, 2009. He re-signed with the Toronto Argonauts on July 20, 2009. On April 7, 2014, Rempel was signed by the Bears.[2] He was released on August 18.[3] On September 25, 2014, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Rempel to a contract.

Good for Weatherman... err Westerman... bad on Daniels. any reports for our awesome group of long-haired Cdn LBs - Hurl, Newman, Waggoner and Briggs. Hurl continues to play a lot at MLB in the drills and scrimmages. Wouldn't surprise me to two starting Canadian linebackers to start the season. If this works out Bucknor may be in jeopardy with Randle on one corner and Johnny Adams on the other. Newman might rotate in as a LB as well. I read a report that Chungh is seriously sucking wind after every play, this might put to rest the Greaves trade rumours.

I thought it had already been established that the NFL style "pure pocket passer" does not work well in the CFL and that mobility is essential . What I hope to see from Willy this year is improved ability to hit his targets when rolling out something that was not evident last season. As a bonus adding motion also opens up the running game, it's no surprise that Cotton has his best games when Willy was not the QB.

See it all the time, young scrambling qbs come in look good in year one, then when there's film on them and teams just take away their room to run and force them to win with just their arm they struggle. Casey Printers is a great example. If you kept him in the pocket he was terrible, you gave him room to run he could be dangerous. Marve needs to show that next step of being able to hurt teams with just his arm consistently because relying on the ability to run isn't always going to be available." True enough but Collaros seems to be doing okay playing this style and his arm isn't as strong as Marve's.

Who's anti-Willy? I just think that Marve has the potential to be better than him... And that's not really far-fetched. I used to have an Auntie Willy but she was a bad girl, always wanting to show off her ding-dong. We had her locked away.

Me to... I was extatic that Waud actually fell to us at 11 and thought it was a no Brainer.. and I was optimistic we'd still have a good chance a good receiver would still be available at 15Waud is probably a better prospect than Richards, but Waud doesn't fit in with how the Bombers plan on managing the ratio.Waud is an interior DL, correct? With Westerman signed I don't see us starting two Canadians on the DL. I think we're going to like Richards. Problem with this is Westerman is already 30 so he's a "now" solution if he turns out to be a solution at all, he might be competitive another 2-3 years. Waud could be a long-term solution and may turn out to be a fixture on the Argo line for a decade now that he's got his NFL rejection out of the way early.

Rookie Camp Discussion & Reports - Day 1
Fatty Liver replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
he reminds me of 1998 Matt Stone. He kind of reminds me of Butthead! Hopefully the CFL allows Richards to play without a helmet, it would be a pity to cover up such a spectacle. -
ROSTER MOVE: The #Redskins have waived DL Daryl Waud

I love Tuttles.

Surprised with the release of Tim Brown, he's a great return man.

Carl Volny endorses this message.

Bombers were close to signing Marcus Ball
Fatty Liver replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Ball would not come cheap, Walters has to watch his salary cap or he will end up paying tomorrow for today's hamburger. Following Brendan Taman's footsteps could lead to places one does not wish to visit.....like Regina. -
Bowman still drops his fair share of balls but his volume of receptions masks that fact. It's the "once in awhile" receivers that are held to the higher standard because that is what fans remember about them most.
