Preseason - Game One - WPG @ TOR
Fatty Liver replied to voodoochylde's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Tuinei has CFL experience and has excelled at times, this is a huge advantage imo. No learning curve for him. Then it would seem to me that he ought to stand out in the exhibition games, yes? Yes, he made a good play on his TD. Thus he stood out. -

Hard to say what Marve will do, could well be a negotiating tactic pushed by his agent. Anyone know who his agent is and if he has CFL experience? Not Marve's dad I hope. A critical factor often overlooked in evaluating QB's is how smart they are. They can have all the physical tools to be great but if their brain is lacking their careers tend to be short. -

I don't think anyone is going to get much out of the stream for RB performance. It'll all be about how they grade out on film with following their blocks, pass protection, who followed their assignments to a tee. One or two carries a guy isn't going to teach them much at all, especially behind a revolving door OL. Plus the field surface was poor, little depth above the asphalt so players who tried to make quick cuts ended up on their ass. -

Game highlights are up on TSN, all 47 seconds of them. Good job TSN, may you burn in HELL!!!! http://www.tsn.ca/vi...uts-27-1.304464 -
Oops wrong thread.

and Edmonton's drive to reproduce the 2013 Bomber offence continues. Sorensen and Pencer manning their stellar OL, Simpson carrying the rock, handed to him by Justin Goltz. Kito Poblah! Paging Kito Poblah! Ed Hervey on line 3! You missed Cauchy man! Cauchy!!!

I think the most important battles tonight will be between the Unamba type players - guys who get on the roster by being athletic and versatile. Wright, Adams, Taylor, Allen and Burnett (and probably 5 others). Can you excel at your natural position AND another position AND special teams? With limited spots on the 44 for imports, the guys who are most athletic and versatile will have a leg up. I at least hope that Unamba is given some preference over the other "Unamba type players" as he is the inspirational leader of the Unamba Type Players Club. -

Actually I would not be surprised to see Yantz as one of the first cuts. There is no benefit to keeping a Canadian quarterback around and at this point I think he is pretty clearly behind all the other qbs, so in that case why bother to keep him? They don't make decisions based on feel good stories. I believe the route to the PR always involves being cut first...but I could be mistaken. -
I haven't found a solid answer on this There isn't one, but I also can't recall TSN making any similar content publicly available since adding a subscriber log-in filter to their site. The answer is most likely not the one you're hoping for. Pretty sure those without TSN Go are screwed, unlikely that the Argos or the Bombers will provide a link to it off their sites, although they shoud. Unless somebody wonderful like NJBomberFan records the feed and puts it up on YouTube later this game will slip into history unwatched by billions the world over. :( :( :(

Unless the game is streamed on one of the TSN's main channels I don't think it is going to be easy to find. I couldn't locate any other stream of the Hamilton game other than the one on Ti-Cat TV.

There won't be live streaming of the Bomber game tomorrow will there? TSN announced today they will on tsn.ca! But it's likely going to be behind a subscriber wall so not available to everyone. We can hope that it's on the Argos website so non-subscribers can watch. Should be able to watch the game on a sports streaming site, I'll check to see who is currently broadcasting TSN feeds. -
I believe if White would have stayed healthy last season he would have led the league in rushing, so it is a pretty big loss for the Esks.

Great. Now use your magic and get them to livestream it?It's certainly possible, but doesn't mean they'll do it. I would bet the farm that this is not in the Bombers plans. What I meant by "no cameras" is without TSN no broadcast of the game will be available to stream. If you want to watch a game recorded off a fans camera, best of luck. I'll stick with Bob Irving's description supplemented by the 3 million adverts 'OB subjects us to. I'm a product of the "black out" era, so I'm used to that level of abuse. Ya it definetely won't happen. I'm just saying it's possible. Bombers will be filming the game for their own purposes. I really hate to say this but the Riders are the only CFL team that would even consider finding a way to "feed the beast" in this situation. The Bombers have a long way to go to match their level of customer relations. Please excuse me while I go puke. Tonight's game will be available on Ticats.ca I don't understand the thought that there's no cameras at the games. There's at least 4 cameras at every field just for the in stadium jumbotron coverage. The NLL used to broadcast games on YouTube using the jumbotron coverage plus volunteer commentators. Okay, that puts the Bombers officially behind both the Riders and the Ti-Cats in the P.R. department. Hopefully they step up and find a way to make this happen. I would like to know the name of the person in the Bomber's office who is paid specifically not to think in advance.

I liked Aaron Woods. There I said it. -
Esk. RB John White in a walking boot predicted to miss half the season. This is the guy that ran rough shod over Etcheverry's career late last season.

Worst nightmare, football and politics don't mix.

Good call. I think if we signed him now his contract would be guaranteed for the season. So maybe the Bombers give him a look once the season starts, if Stoudermire's injury lingers and if none of the in house guys look good... I have to believe with the talent the Bombers brought to camp this year a replacement player is already in house. If they have to use a player heading for the PR to temporarily hold the position until Stoudermire returns it's not the end of the world. Anyone know if Reaves was given a look at this position?
