Irving & Tait 3 keys to the game
    1. Unsettle James Frankli n again, with genuine heat
    2. Bomber's Offence needs to mix up play calling
    3. Contain dangerous Markese Jackson & Kick Coverage
For me, I want to see the mental toughness to put a real opponent into a game long throttling - no letting them get up even once ... I don't want to see us make a come from behind victory .... If the Blue lose I will give my head a shake as a fan and the whole team and coaches should reevaluate life ... we are 3 games behind Calgary with the best O-Line in the league  if not the nastiest
Film study be damned ... I want to see smash mouth football ... dominance ... then I will know we have turned the corner ... we need a feeding frenzy explosion (at long last)
    Go Tenbrell Thompkins!

I would like to see less trick plays and more smash mouth football ... as in the running game set up the passing game ... we seen to be too far away from the basics ... we have the best running  back since Charles Roberts + a good oline + receivers who can block ... is this lapo or mos that is taking us away from the fundamentals?

There is no doubt in my mind, this loss is squarely on Michael O'Shea's shoulders
Kick a field goal instead of gambling .... then kick another field goal instead of gambling
Then very late in the game with the ball near centerfield and the game tied: forget to run Andrew Harris on first down
Horrible game management and don't you dare blame a coordinator .... O Shea has a gambling problem

    Ed Tait:
The Bomber defence wants to continue with its ball-hawking ways – their four turnovers is tied for second – and then cut back on the yards allowed. Earlier this week we asked Fenner what his crew on defence wanted to establish as their defensive identity.
“Adapting. We want to focus on having an adaptive gameplan,” he said. “What I mean by that is we need our defence to be a living, breathing thing… a living, breathing organism that moves, that never has a tendency because it is reacting to what it’s seeing.
“I really started focusing on that after the Hamilton game because their offence was reading us. Watching the TV copy (of the game), you can hear them talking about how they are going to attack us on the next play, what they’re running and what they’re planning on running based on what they see. I’m stealing that. I want that for our defence. I want our defence to have that communication to the point that no matter what we see or no matter what our initial gameplan was, we can adjust it to win. That’s what I want our identity to be, because we’re already physical, we’re already fast, we already have really intelligent guys on the entire defence.
“There’s always an answer,” added Fenner. “So if something happens to you on a play, it’s a matter of absorbing it and then using it to your advantage. You might get hit with a play, but the defence is so connected and there is so much communication… it’s like hitting water – as soon as you make a dent it’s going to fill back up again.”

Starting in the 3rd Q we had 10    2 and outs in a row (TSN) ... I put this on Lapo who may have been trying to manage Strreveler way too much .... he was throwing the ball away instead of out running lineman on his tail  ... he did not seem to be allowed to operate and make plays in that stretch ... half way into the 4th Q they seemed to take the training wheels off ... this part was on Lapo not Hall

We lost the battle of the trenches. We could not put pressure on Masoli and if I am seeing straight, we did not come close to regularly threatening him with a sack ( I think we managed one). When Hammy ran the ball we looked rather porous.  Our vaunted front 7 looked rather "below average" as defences go. On the other side of the ball, we were not giving Streveler that extra second to find a receiver finally shaking coverage. He was under constant pressure that led to 10 straight 2 and outs. Neufeld was not making the same holes that Travis Bond was famous for. We could mount no sustained running attack, even with Andrew Harris busting a gut.
Ritchie's defensive back placement sucked. There is no other word for it. His umbrella, as usual, was too deep and Masoli feasted on multiple open receivers underneath. By way of contrast Hamilton played our receivers quite tight. Streveler did not have time for his receivers to work their way open. Ritchie's bend- don't-break defence was a feast for the Tiger Cats.
Maurice Leggett has no business returning kickoffs, unless we want to be regularly scrimmaging at the 20 yard line instead of the 35 or 40. That experiment has failed and it made a significant difference to field position.
Streveler was "tempered" instead of being allowed to lead. He does not need training wheels. He is an improviser that can make things happen. Instead he was left inside of Lapo's tightly controlled offence. Let the "stars" shine... PLEASE See how he did in the last couple drives (albeit against a prevent defence). I believe he could have done same thing in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
We can influence Lapo and replace Ritchie. But why we lost the battle of the trenches: I am not sure. Was it scheme? Was it attitude or overconfidence? Was it personnel? Coaching?  I don't have the slightest idea except that I keep hearing how talented we are. That talent didn't show up tonight.
Maybe we came in overconfident and resting on our laurels, not waking up until it was too late.
We are certainly outclassed by Hamilton. I tip my hat to them, but tonight only.

The media seems focused on Mazoli throwing his 8th  straight 300+ yard passing stat ... don't think the Bombers sitting in their locker room haven't been listening and talking about it ... they just might have something to prove on both sides of the ball
Leggett is replacing Gaitor and both Sayles and Cooper look like they are dressing ... what do you think:     will they play their hearts out to make an impression ... and what about Roh: he sat last week in favor to Bryant - - do you think he will have his engine reved up?
Has Ritchie gotten his point across to his front seven to stay in their lanes - - will they want to redeem themselves given what happened to them with that greased pig Reilly - - Ritchie must be pteaching Masoli is no less slippery?
Streveler says all the right things but don't you believe he is thinking about being ranked well below Masoli and even behind a non performing Ricky Ray?
Harris is sure to be loaded for bear and has at times carried the team on his back but with the receivers we have is he going to have to?
Neufeld likely feels he needs to prove himself with everyone talking about Couture. Do we have the best O-Line in the league? We are going to find out
...  Further Streveler is an improviser that will put huge pressure on Hammy's LBers who will have to continuously decide whether to stay with their cover or creep up to stop our own greased pig.
The Bombers have been rated the underdogs for this outing .... I like that bet

On passing downs move Leggett into  Santos Knox spot and the DI to DB
