I disagree. We can win games with Nichols. I think it'll take 4 more wins to make the playoffs. Let's say we beat Montreal, BC, Ottawa once and another win somewhere. It's definitely doable with Nichols and the D playing at a high level.

I believe that it is possible for us to win 4-5 more games this year, based on the defence continuing to play at a high level.  A couple of big Specialty team plays can swing a game as well.   So long as we have a QB that can get the ball downfield, the offence will be better because that threat also opens up the underneath stuff as well.

We don't have a million in cap space and if you don't like the question then don't answer or respond. It's a legit question that Walters may need to consider. None of us know the Bombers true cap situation.

If you could only sign one guy, who would it be?  I'd love to have Henoc back in a Bomber uniform, but teams NEED two quality QBs if they want to contend and become legit playoff/Grey Cup contenders (look at Calgary's model).  In my opinion, Henoc would be a luxury, but Nichols is a need.  If I had $225k and could only sign one of Nichols or Henoc, I'd give the money to Nichols. 
 
We'd probably be 5-6 or even 6-5 right now if we had Nichols right when Willy went down.  Henoc is a luxury, but Nichols is a difference maker. 

ATTN Kyle Walters: sign Nichols to an extension ASAP.  Give him low starting QB money, like $200k per season if that's what it takes.

In listening to Nichols presser today, he says one of his main goals is to get rid of the ball quickly, and that making the OL protect for 3-4 seconds is too much to ask.  I’m thinking this offense could look a lot better with Nichols at the helm.   Willy’s tendency to hold onto the ball so long was one of the major reasons for giving up as many sacks the past couple years.  Sure would be nice to see us go on a nice run…
