Right. My bad.

Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
I guess I'm one of those people. Should he not technically be on the ice as he's still under contract?

Game 4 : Leafs @ Panicking Already?
IMHO, I'd like to see Tanev getting third line minutes.

Around The League Regular Season Discussion
Having no experience in this world of workout supplements or performance enhancing drugs, is it a difficult process in certain scenarios to fully understand what specific ingredients are in the supplement I'm taking? For example, are manufacturer's not labeling clear enough? Is this a concern for athletes who don't want to cheat?

Game 4 : Leafs @ Panicking Already?
Leaning on my heart, not my head, I still believe the Jets make the playoffs this year. No way we lose faith after three games. Once the Trouba situation gets resolved, the Jets take off.

Montreal releases Duron Carter and Stafford
And Ben Cahoon. The guy was money.

October 12 Practise
Thanks very much SS. 'Davis is still 2nd option at QB' I'm somewhat surprised by this. Wouldn't Glenn be our better option 2 at this stage of the season?

Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
Elite doesn't mean world beater and what an odd thing to say about me. You underestimate Tyler Myers and what he brings to this team. He's one of the reasons the Jets are close to being a playoff bound team. Yes he has weaknesses but he's a special player that's fun to watch. You seem to have this pretty intense disdain for him that seems to be misguided and a bit weird.

Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
He's 26 years old just hitting his stride. Plus he brings a lot already, so your question implies underachieving which I would suggest not. He has more to give but already brings a lot, so waiting isn't much of an issue imo. Right now with what he has now, he could be considered elite. He is not your average NHL d-man.

I can't see the Jets trading away Myers unless Chevy is forced to or another GM hit his head and offers up something ridiculous. Like I've said about Buff (whom we locked up long term), Myers is a special player with skills, size and reach that don't come around to often. Why give him to someone else? Imo, and it's only my opinion, some posters here underestimate Myers. He still has more to bring to the table. I want to be the beneficiary of that if at all possible.

Kohlert gets his ball back.
By the title of the thread, I assumed it was about Kohlert playing better. Glad he got the ball back. Should put the ball in a mantle at the Bomber store with the the trick play being played over and over again. One of the best trick plays I have ever seen the Bombers execute.

Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
Well, imo he brings a physical presence to the team, he never takes a shift off which can rub off on other players especially the rookies, he's shown a bit of offensive ability, he's not afraid to plant himself in front of the net, he seems very good in the locker room that one can't underestimate. That's what I've observed over time However, in order to get a factual answer from a hockey expert who knows the Jets inside out, you'd probably have to see if Maurice and/or Chevy would answer your question of what he brings to the team. Because they obviously see something in him that you aren't seeing.

Yakupov traded
So help me understand what Yak's responsibility is in all of this? Did he need someone to tell him constantly how great he is and hey play where ever you want and have as many minutes as you want? Please, let it go with Eakins mind crushing ability. He was a lousy head coach but did not ruin Yakupov. Yakupov isn't as good as some think he was/is. It's happened before with high draft picks and it will happen again.

Yakupov traded
Destroyed? So you're already giving him an out for sucking in St.Louis? You constantly give Dallas Eakins way to much credit for his influence on players. I guess we can test your theory now on how well he does with the Blues. He is out of excuses.

Sask v. Ottawa
D Coach sure, Head Coach, the jury is still out. Not all coordinators can make the transition. Plus he's a jerkface to people outside his inner circle so I could care less how great one thinks he may be. You can have him.

Week Of vs BC Thanksgiving Game (Now With Depth Chart!)
Here's your route Tori, it ends in the endzone with you blowing kisses to the camera.

Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
I think you somewhat underestimate Thorburn it what he brings to the table outside of him being a nice guy. I think where I disagree with you is I believe he's a career fourth liner that compares well with other NHL teams career fourth liners. I would love to have a team where we have 3rd line players playing fourth line but that's not realistic unless you're a team that pays right to the salary cap maximum.

Bombers sign Tori Gurley
I do. :-)

Bombers sign Tori Gurley
It was just twittered out by Darrin B that the Bombers did enough investigation on why Gurley was released that they are comfortable in signing him. Think that helps answer my question around how this will affect team chemistry.

2016 Lines
I was thinking just that to see Morrissey with Buff, to me that would be a better pairing. I would think the jury is still out on whether Morrissey is NHL ready. With Trouba MIA sure would be nice if Morrissey shines. He'll be doing a lot of covering for Buff :-)

- Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
Apparently, according to some hockey experts, there's no pressure for the Jets to be a contender this year. So that shouldn't matter. On the one hand we have people saying the Jets won't be pressured to be contenders this year but then the same people who say that insist there is pressure if they don't win. Then I'll hear the argument about being competitive versus being a contender. A loss is a loss. I think the notion that saying certain teams have no pressure to be contenders for an upcoming season is nonsensical to me imho.- Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
I see it the other way. I think we're in the drivers seat on this one. I'm not going to be pressured by a player and his agent. This is where existing depth comes into play. I have to trust my existing depth will step up and at least be manageable for my coaching staff while a deal is being sought. My interests are for my club not on a single player and his agent who don't want to be part of this organization anymore. The pressure is on them not us. The longer he sits the worse it gets for him as well. , - Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
