The deke around the D was impressive, but man how did Ramo even let that in?? It was low, near side! No clue how that puck ever gets in the net.

He either thought buff was coming out front or going for the wrap around. Once his pad was off the post he lost positioning. Unbelievable shot by buff putting it in the exact spot it needed to be.

Buff schooled Wideman on that play and then made Ramo look silly. Tough game against St. Louis on Sunday. Schedule gets real next week.

Actually their schedule was real the day it began imo. Two back to back games in hostile environments and then the pressure of a home opener.

Yes some would argue the calibre of most teams they played thus far isn't up to par but rarely on any given night is there any freebies.

This young Jet team plays a nice structured game from Maurice, who is allowing them to play fast and take some chances.

Very exciting.

One has to be impressed with the like of Ehlers, who is fast and good on the puck and he will only get better. Burmistrov still displays the skills he has shown before, but now he's all over the ice…in a good way. Smart defensively.

Scheifele looks solid and plays smart and fast.

And the rest of the usual suspects.

Good game, again.

No. It is. You just get a boner thinking of Burmi. He's a good 3rd 4th line winger. Nothing more

Oh I see. That must be it. It's my boner. It can't be that he's been everywhere from good to great so far. But hey if you disliked him before he season began you have to fit his strong play into your narrative.

And yes good 3rd line player. Oh and weird, he's on the third line. And he's good. Fancy that. I guess we agree. My boner notwithstanding.
