Hate to say this...but TO has grit, top guy out and they find a way...Bruins now are definitely in trouble. If this continues might have to drop watching the NHL playoffs! 😉

Angry emoji directed at you dear sir. Wash your mouth out with soap. The Leafs could win a Stanley Cup and would still royally suck. That's a fact.

(Q): Please explain profit margins, record profits when it comes to the necessities of life (food, gas, electricity, water etc)?

(A): Thanks for the question average Canadian who probably supports communism cuz they dare to question anything about capitalism, it's all much too complicated for your brain to comprehend, let us brilliant trust fund entrepreneurs take care of the adult stuff.

    Capitalism at it's finest.

It's the best system we have I'm told but those same voices go quiet when I counter, is there room for improvement when it comes to a small group of people making gobs and gobs and gobs of money off the backs of lower middle class people's necessities of life?

I'm all for profit but I'm always met with a shrug of the shoulders and it's the best system we have when questioning profit margins trump everything else.

I love how some capitalists instantly pass the buck and never chat profit margins (no matter what gotta keep em and increase em for our shareholders with creative book keeping) but are very vocal about increased prices that aren't their fault look over there while rambling on about supply and demand. And gawd forbid demand goes down then the default becomes we're too big to fail better help us or all these people will lose their jobs and we may have to pull out of your communities. Bullet proof strategy cemented with 'its the best system we have' while offering gobbly **** responses to how profit margins work.

Other than Brossy, who we're not going to keep as he'll want starter money (and should get it) I'm not huge on any of those names.  I had hope for Monahan and Toffoli going into the playoffs and then I saw them go through the motions and show they don't really want to be here.  Monahan especially shied away from any and all rough stuff.  Do we keep him so we can make the playoffs?  Just so then we can bow out in 5 games? I don't know.

Yes SM is for sure a skilled player but there’s a saying in football that you play to the whistle and it just look like he let up on some plays but who knows what injuries these guys are playing with to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Where do I apply to become MBB Scout of German Football? What does it pay? Do I get to live in Europe?

Not to mention the fact you could use this title to your advantage to impress the locals when they ask you what they hell you're doing there. Cuz as soon as you say football they aren't thinking North American football but European football. Just don't let them know what MBB stands for.

  7. All these lineup changes may be too little too late but I hold hope they will get us back into the series especially the forward line-up changes.

To be hyper critical from my amateur lazy boy line of sight, Bowness seemed a bit stubborn/slow on making significant adjustments to counter what the Avs have been showing the Jets.

Injuries forced his hand which may be a blessing in disguise but the Avs are playing like a Stanley Cup contender so it may be too much to overcome.

What I know for sure is next year is our year. 🙂

  8. Excerpt taken from an article from Kerry Collins Hockey Writers:

Thud: Connor Hellebuyck Stinks Right Now

Connor Hellebuyck may take home his second Vezina Trophy this season, but it’s a good thing votes are cast before the puck drops on the postseason. Hellebuyck has been brutal in this series, posting a dismal .870 save percentage and 5.22 goals-against average through the first four games. It finally got him benched in Game 4, as Laurent Brossoit took over in the third period of Colorado’s 5-1 victory.

Not sure if that's how Bowness and crew would write that up.

Because ppl expected the jets to finish top 5 in nhl I guess. U fire the gm for trading Dubois for Vilardi Iafallo kupari ? Or for trading for Monahan or a 4th rd pick for Toffoli? Or a 5th for miller. Or for signing Nino to a new deal? I mean which mistake is on the gm here.

fire Chevy the year he likely wins gm of the year? lol. Ok that’s so gonna happen

I get your sarcasm, valid points but the GM's body of work from year to year include the the teams success rate in the playoffs, no?

I guess it has to do with how high should expectations be placed on Chevy when it comes to the success of the Winnipeg Jets getting closer and ultimately winning the Stanley Cup?

I think your sarcasm suggests that Chevy is doing his job, i.e., top 5 in the NHL, makes the playoffs consistently but as the Jets flame out in the playoffs consistently year after year 1st or 2nd round its the players and coaches not doing enough mixed with larger market teams have tremendous advantage over small market teams?

If this is expectation for Chevy (consistently making the playoffs and it stops there), it's great gig cuz he will never be expected to win a Stanley Cup here cuz it's someone else's or some thing that is at fault when it comes to how successful the Jets are in the playoffs (not the season).
