  1. A high pain threshold is not always a good thing. It can also keep you in a bad relationship too long.
  2. The trouble with reality is that it just will not go away. Thus, O'Shea and company still look bad.
  3. The team is struggling now, but I would not label this as a "dumpster fire". There are good players on the team, just not enough of them and motivation may be more of a problem than ability. However, the coaching has to be assessed for good reason and any coach who has produced a winning record of about 35% should be scrutinized.
  4. Josiah isn't practicing right now- he's injured.
  5. YOU CANNOT CHANGE WHAT YOU DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE AS PROBLEMATIC.
  6. An excellent recap and much appreciated, and it appears to confirm concerns about the quality of the coaching.
  7. And so does regression.
  8. Its time for Waggoner to show that he has the stuff to be a CFL pro. He has the college experience, size and smarts, so he should cook or get off the stove. Bass did not do well last game, but neither did most of the defence, so lets see what Bass does tomorrow.
  9. I'm not a huge fan of gameday GIF threads but they are occasionally hilarious and always harmless. We have so little reason for levity in this forum, I vote we continue. If the Bombers lose tomorrow to Hamilton, it is going to feel like a wake in here. A wake with cold rage, but a wake nonetheless.
  10. The apologists say "Its only two games". The realists look back over the past two seasons and see little to no improvement and the same old problems.
  11. I watched that game and at the end all I could think of was,"Thank God I didn't make the trip and spend money to watch this travesty."
  12. And our "sackmaster" is on the disabled list.
  13. Well, he cannot be any worse than at least one of the current NI linemen. Somebody that big, smart and athletic has to be able to play the sport and play it well.
  14. We are bound to win every now and again, just as a blind squirrel will find the odd nut. I hope that whatever win comes for the Bombers will come as a result of the Bombers playing well, not as a result of the other team not showing up for the game. The two points would be nice, but a win by default because the other team sucks worse will do nothing for the restless fans or team confidence.
  15. But what about Adrian's aged mother and her cabinets?
  16. Jeff ought to be worth Keeping.
  17. Boooo. No, wait. Arrggh- its true, its true.
  18. If memory serves, Bowman dissed Higgins in front of the whole team for wanting to do things differently. Apparently Bowman was under the impression that his opinion was of greater value than the coach's. Popp agreed with Bowman.
  19. But being a Walmart greeter in Etobicoke would be preferable to being a resident of Regina.
  20. Traded to Regina- I would retire too. Better to be Wal-Mart greeter in Etobicoke.
  21. If the Bombers get trampled in Hamilton the way they have been in the last two games, we would officially be in freefall even though there would still be 15 games left. I cannot see team confidence rebounding quickly if it comes to that. And the troglodytes in Saskatchewan would be beside themselves with glee.
  22. You may want to rephrase that "gotta look at the film" thing to " it was one of the things that made him look bad".
  23. They all can't suck, so that leaves....
  24. If we have to parachute someone in to caretake the team for the rest of the season, Higgins is as good as there is out there.
  25. I didn't think that the Bombers as a group played hard enough to injure themselves unless there was particularly coarse toilet paper in the Bomber locker room at McMahon stadium.
