Anselmi is an alumnus of Ryerson University and University of Saskatchewan. Not sure what qualifications an investment banker would have to be commissioner of the CFL. Investment bankers are regarded as dealmakers at a very high stakes level. Lawless just listed the finalists, not a full list of applicants. JBR said nobody with CFL experience was interested but who's to say there wasn't and they just didn't make the final cut?
