I honestly prefer it this way. In 2019 all you heard about was the Hamilton juggernaut and how it was on track to be an all-time great champion. Even after we pummelled them in the Grey Cup, the talk at the start of this year was not the returning champs, but the redemption tour for “team 14-0”. The more we fly under the radar, the better IMO. Seen too many defending champs pull off an underdog win, carry that win to a dominating regular season where they suddenly play up to the level of their championship win, get praise heaped on them as being the new power, and then get taken down in the playoffs (think St. Louis Blues). If TSN wants to try to convince viewers there is still parity this year, let them. Let’s just keep on quietly winning all the way to another Grey Cup, then we can bask in the long overdue accolades. Being the Week 7 champions in the eyes of the media means extremely little to me.

I'm giggling about how tweaked Riders fans are going to be about this... "THEY ONLY PLAY TEAMS THAT ARE FULL OF INJURIES!!11!!"

    Bomber D-Line vs Elks O-Line.
Harris knew what was coming, so he escaped the pressure really, really early.

    WINNIPEG SURGING
This week, the Bombers head to Edmonton looking to improve to 6-1 on the season – a feat they have not achieved since 2011 when they started the season 7-1 and reached the Grey Cup. Prior to that, they reached the mark in 1984 when they won the Grey Cup. This season, Winnipeg has scored the most points (136) and allowed the fewest points (76) for a +60-point differential. Winnipeg leads the league in several key categories so far this season: Points allowed (12.7 per game) Touchdowns scored (16) Touchdowns allowed (6) Turnover ratio (+12) 2-and-outs forced (32) Turnovers forced (17) 30+ yard completions (12) Lowest passing efficiently (73.7) 12.7 points allowed per game is the fewest since 1966 (Ottawa with 12.6). Winnipeg’s team record was set in 1958 (11.4) during a season in which they finished 13-3. In the fourth quarter this year, the Bombers have allowed a total of three points. Bombers receiver Kenny Lawler leads the league with 15-second down-conversion receptions, accounting for 47 per cent of his catches. Zach Collaros is tied for the league-lead with nine touchdown passes. Mike Miller has had multiple special teams tackles in each game this year and stands at a total of 15 to lead the league. Jackson Jeffcoat is tied for the league lead with five sacks and leads the league with four forced fumbles.

Funny thing when Lirim was here he had one bad year and some Posters were ready to hang him too, luckily for him he moved on stayed mentally strong and became a consistent kicker. I even remember Bob Cameron almost not making it, only the best punter in the wind ever. We gotta have patience with these young kickers....

I was nice to hear Neilson's excitement when Kenny Lawler scored the touchdown in the Banjo Bowl.  In my mind, he was almost rubbing it in Suitor's face because he kept going on about the brawl and how Harris wasn't thrown out.

wonder if Suitor will send in the clip of Johnson throwing a punch to the side of Harris head....while pinned under the pile, while he had his helmet ripped off as well?...if anything that is a post game suspension worthy incident

That type of thing is really hard to learn or improve with out hands on long term access.
Hilarious. Most teams are too busy running through that swiss cheese front of theirs to put up 300 yards. Ott almost beat them. Maier had no trouble with them. BLM looked bad and had no trouble with them. Theyve had a huge benefit of playing the most compromised passing games in the league thus far. Ott, nichol is crippled. Bc, Reillys arm looks like its gonna fall off. BLM, playing on a broken leg missing stuff thatd shock nichols. Mtl and cal hung 30 points on em. Which this year is like 50. Willy jefferson has as many picks as their whole team!
The elk havent played any one yet, but theyre about to.

I was shocked that Collaros threw that TD to Lawler was expecting them to just hand off and salt the game away.

Omg whaaaaaaaat? Man I hate that guy being back in the league. Such a toxic ****. I feel like thats gotta be pressure on dinwiddie at HC. Which is dumb, he's been exceptional for them. Id take him as an OC here in a heart beat.
So far dinwiddie looks like he deserves to be a HC in the cfl.

I dont know how you can refer to that play and claim a double standard? VAJ was NOT a star and really still isnt, and that play was far worse. The swing of the helmet is what got him suspended. Its clearly written that swinging at some one will get you ejected.
We see helmets pulled off by face masks a couple times a year. Fact is, helmets are seldom strapped on tightly these days. We see helmets go flying or hit the ground every 2 or 3 plays.
Face masking is NOT an ejection, face masking and some ones helmet coming off is also not an ejection. Its pretty clear tbh.
The riders were piling on harris, who never touched the ball, took him to the ground and were on him trying to injure him long after the play was whistled. He had to struggle to get up and the rider went after him as soon as he was up. If it happened on the street itd be pure self defense.
The attack on demski shouldve been ejected. That was an attempt to injure. The riders also tried to go after WJ right after the sack that knocked fajardo out of the game. If willy had been a lone, or had not run to celebrate that OL wouldve clocked him from behind. Thomas stopped the cheap shot. They were still going at it when brady was in and ran all over them. This was 100% a riders instigated fight. 3 riders should be suspended, and maybe dicker too. He has failed to assert control over his teams actions the entire year.

Suitor was especially insufferable, with it being a Bomber home game.
    Suitor:
”Cody Fajardo could have a great game today, because his neighbour’s dog only peed on his lawn twice last week etc etc etc”
    Neilsen:
”Richie Hall has had his defence dialled in all season!”
    Also Suitor:
    ”yeah they’re ok, I guess”

Meh, who cares if we are underrated. Let the Rider fan base be fat and happy. I am fine with everyone not giving us credit where it is due. Pretty sure TSN still hasn't comprehended pur manhandling of the Ti-Cats in the 2019 Grey Cup
