that's the best roster we've fielded all year...ain't that some ****. Also, I was pretty ambivalent toward the Als and these next two games...but after the bullshit comments from their players, I want another 45-0 beat down...

The Bombers don't care what the Als say or think. Bombers know that they're trying to get a reaction out of them.

So Als tackle Tony Washington thinks we haven't beaten anybody good. Dude, your team is 6-5 with 3 wins over Ottawa and a win over Edmonton. Hope the Jeffs beat him down tomorrow.

After watching Nichols this year behind the Ottawa OL, I will never sell an OL short again on their impact on QB play. Our OL made Nichols look competent, and is definitely a big part of the elevated play of Collaros. That being said, Collaros is just a perfect fit for any team with a great OL. He is, and always was even in Saskatchewan, a guy that was exceptional at delivering a perfectly thrown long ball. His injury year in Hamilton notwithstanding, what held Collaros back from what we are seeing now was the fact he had to play behind an atrocious OL in Sask that routinely got him killed.
There is no doubt that our OL is a big factor in his success. However, Collaros reads a defence really well, extends plays like no other, and can make every throw on the field with great accuracy and timing. The difference between his natural abilities and Nichols is pretty substantial.

Montreal can definitely win this game but the Bombers will have to be bad.
 
I don't think this team really needs a loss to get focused. I think this crew has the ability to keep the intensity and focus all the way through the playoffs. 

In his defense... Mtl getting their run game churning is really their only chance in this games... doesn't mean it's going to happen... just means Montreal needs to get the run game going and not fall behind early if the want any chance in this game...

70%? It's not like Collaros is putting in 30% of the work; QB is a major part of a team's success.
No doubt there are a number of pivots who'd thrive behind this O-line but he still needs the tools to be successful: a good arm, accurate passing, vision of the field, mobility, plus intangibles like leadership. Collaros possesses all of those even if the hogs up front are making his job easier to do. He still has to execute and he's been surgically efficient in 2021.
It's an amalgam of equal parts, IMO. Which is to say nothing about the RBs, receivers, and coaches (OC in particular). This offense as a whole has more often than not been lights out this season and perhaps the most balanced, well-oiled offensive unit we've seen in these parts in years.

Clearly Harris hasn't suffered enough. He avoided the Bombers 2 out of 3 times. The football gods said, no, no, no, you MUST play the Bombers thrice. Not twice but thrice!
