You can't call it terrorism without actually knowing his motives.  Terrorism:  "the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims."

I agree.  The outcome sucks but what other option is there?  The welfare and safety of humans surpasses that of any animal.
They tried their best, they tranq'd it and it passed away.  Every time you put yourself under for a medical operation or such you run the same risk of never waking up.

Or, Steve Jobs was just a better snake oil salesman than what they have now cause I don't see any differences in the what Apple is selling now, just that they can't polish up those turds as well as they used to.

It was a good site for a long time.  Things change and everyone moved here.  it was bound to shut down at some point.

I dunno, the D was put in two horrible situations right after each other.   that'd not their fault.
and then they stiffened in the 2nd half and gave our O a chance to win....which they blew multiple times.

Its pretty sad that a piece of garbage can be misconstrued so badly that it becomes a racist sign..  I truly weep for humanity.

    RACISM! RACISM EVERYWHERE!
Listen to the intelligent words of Morgan Freeman.  Want to stop racism?  'stop talking about it'.  There is no system in place to keep black people down in America.  (unless you're talking about Democrat-run cities)
The opposite is true.  They are MANY programs and institutions whose sole purpose is to further black people in society.

I don't want to start a whole thing, but diversity for the the sake of it doesn't make anything stronger.  It's just a buzzword for virtue signallers.
Actual strength and good morals makes us better, not diversity.   Strength makes us stronger.
I believe in merit. .....not virtue signalling to make a quick buck and make yourselves look good.
    OK I'm good.

Yeah, the CFL stated the DIS campaign as a cute way to make $$$ off of what happened in Charlottesville. At least that is what I believe. They even ran a story on CNN about it 2 weeks ago & Ambrosie was interviewed admitting the CFL decided to move up the campaign from the fall because of what happened in the US. Our Commish was quite smug about the campaign obviously proud it garnered attention in the US & around the world on CNN.
I don't know how many of you saw that particular interview but he sounded to me like he was lecturing people in the US over what happened.  I thought they were on a slippery slope with that campaign as they could be set up for a fall over something unforeseen like the Briles hiring. I think the CFL shouldn't try to be the moral compass of sport in this country. They should do what they do best. Just play football. No other sports league has a marketing campaign like this. It nearly blew up on the CFL.

When the CFL is getting into the campaigns to end violence against women and domestic violence and then quickly took the moral high ground with the diversity is strength campaign you can't wade into that **** storm, just can not do it.
I am all for second chances to people who want to earn them, but the timing of this second chance, no way. CFL is bigger than the Ticats or this guy.

That's funny, because the league was fine with Hamilton's hiring decision.  Then they flip flopped when they realized how angry people became.
This is bad for the commish, not a strong leadership move.

Monday, August 28, 2017 — TORONTO (August 28, 2017) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have released the following statement:
    Randy! Randy!
    Randy for Commissioner!
A firestorm of anxiety and never ending finger pointing has been averted. Earlier today a cross country shytestorm wind blew through all the provinces like the unpredictable winds at Tim Horton's field on this hiring controversy, but to the delight of all, the CFL, although wind blown, comes out on the right end of this decision.
Nevermind Diversity is Strength, how about the strength shown in leadership today?
    Well done!

You can't sugar coat this as our defense is terrible. Our linebackers other than Leggett are terrible. All I ever see is the back of Hurl's jersey on every play. he is being outplayed out there every game. Our D is going to cost us a championship.

Exactly, How many close games has Calgary won against us/the rest of the league over the  years? Montreal has a lot of vets they didn't play well last week and came out and brought their A game at home. The good teams win the close games.

It's not Nazi's v. non-Nazis.  It's Nazis v. Communists, and in that fight you don't choose sides.  This is what befell 1930's Germany.  The Nazis (left-wing national socialists) played off the people's fear of the communists.
The neo-Nazis and AntiFa are both violent, extremist losers who are nothing but trouble for society.
In a battle of fascists (AntiFa act more like fascists than anyone) and Nazis, both need to be hit by an asteroid.
We need to acknowledge violence by all who propagate it.
