Yeh on maybe I'm remembering the second half of his career more clearly since those were the years I started with season tickets.
My strongest memories of Calvillo was him absolutely shredding our zone maybe 1 steamboat out of his drop and leaving the pocket no more than a couple times a game

Calvillo never really felt like a gunslinger/move the pocket/big play guy.
He was a methodological pick you apart with accuracy and knowing exactly where the open guy would be as the ball hit his hands guy.
I thinkd those kinds of QBs have a much longer shelf life.

Yeh he's never particularly successful just following an OL in the short yardage plays... everytime he's successful it's because he goes down the line and finds a seam. IF Ottawa was competitive enough to matter around playoff time teams will widen out against ottawa on their 3rd down plays

TBH - Brown's play looked largely like Buck didn't really change much in the playbook when the QB swapped... and Brown was so composed... eye's downfield, multiple reads, Definitely not pulling the ball early and running.

What's the chance Hadrick gets fined for the camera theft celebration... I can't imagine the league wants players consistently grabbing field cameras going forward

TBH - Evans played really well in those two games.
The knock on Evans was never that he couldn't perform at a high level... it's that when a defense manages to frustrate him he goes from being top-tier to being absolute garbage.
When he's in the groove Evans is one of the best QB's in the league IMO

How many more years can we expect Collaros to play?
Turning 35 this year, maybe 3-4 more seasons?
If Strev gets cut this year I see him signing somewhere else but if it's next year we might be in play

Honestly Pigrome has looked good getting piles of yards on these short yard situations... but that's not really what he's supposed to be doing... he could have guaranteed the 1st down and made a move where he could have lost yards before the 1st.
I wonder if he was consistent in "trying to do more" in practice situations

I'm confused on the unnecessary roughness penalty on circus in the first half... how did that end up being back to the original line of scrimmage and 2nd down.... Shouldn't that have been 1st down and 10 back from where the ball ended up?

TBH - Bombers still look like a good team
They just aren't the league wrecking super dominant force that we've started to get used to... something that wasn't likely to last forever.
Hall's defense seems to have consistent issues with mobile QBs
