Not entirely happy with the slim lead but its better than a tie or being behind. Halftime adjustments are gonna be big. Brady was running better and better as the game wore on, but Collaros' passing leaves much to be desired.

He's only been a bit off... underthrew Schoen on a couple and just barely missed Ellingson on that scramble play

NFL teams love their draft picks over UDFA's at any position. That's the way they roll. That being said, if a guy is good enough he will play.  Also, Heinecke is starting this week, you can't blame them for taking a shot at Wentz but it seems that experiment has ended.

Washington is giving up a LOT of value putting Wentz on their roster - It's a huge hit to their salary cap that could have been spent in other ways and isn't because they "took a shot on Wentz"

Has nothing to do with talent. Starting qbs will basically only be draftees from here on forward. Teams want that big name kid. More political than anything.

Look at Taylor Heinecke in Washington - the guy looked like he was someone who could lead the team to victories last year and they still went and acquired a semi-washed up journeyman to be the starter in the off-season (and since he's started again this year he's once again looked like a guy who can win them games)

Politics of being an undrafted QB.

  4. Gotta think the Bombers are going to have a better time of it this year than last, despite last years team being better relative to the rest of the league -  I can't imagine the Ti-Cats playing a home game grey cup didn't give them a huge boost.

Rewatched the Grey Cup game and realized I forgot how close we came to losing that - especially needing a comeback and getting lucky with bad decisions by the Ti-Cat returner.

Collaros is a baller, but it does seem like he doesn't play his best football in the playoff's - He's consistently playing at a much lower QB rating than he averages through the regular season.

Also - I just noticed where BA tore his ACL on the last play of the game... he wasn't even doing anything stupid... just ran up and gave a little hop and I guess tore it when he landed.... crazy bad luck.

I think they made the rule after this Ian Wild block and he hurt the kicker real bad.

Unless I understand the rule very poorly I don't think this block/hit would be a penalty.   Wild didn't hit the penalty leg... he went through the kicking leg (fine if ball is blocked) and into the punters body

I was singing na na na na, hey hey hey goodbye since the opening kick off. All game long.

I never really had any doubt although my buddies were telling me to shut up when it got a tad dicey in the 4th.

I think the argos are a tougher team to play against. Winnipeg has had some trouble against eastern teams ( relatively speaking, folks. Sure hope legs gets his **** together though. Punted pretty well. Can't be missing xps.

Sure seemed like the fix was In against us today although I won't actually entertain that conspiracy

Collaros had a forgettable game too. Almost threw a couple ints early and eventually he did. I came in thinking our offense was going to win the game and turns out or d was dominant. Nice to see them firing on all cylinders. Great game for our secondary

Great job on the crowd. Loud and engaged. Cost the lions like 20 seconds at the end of the game. Not sure if anyone caught that but it seemed to me like Rourke couldn't get the play out to the rest of the O.

    1-0 WON more time lol

Collaros had a pretty bad game.... benefitted from guys dropping multiple reasonably catchable ints.

That being said.... when you put 180 yards on the ground you don't need your QB to do all that much.

yup....shades of 2019 grey cup....guy is not a winner when the going gets tough.....I can't see him back there next yr, and I bet he is dealt to Sask ....BLM is gonna be in Hamilton...thats the only spot I see him landing...unless BC comes hard cause Rourke is gone for a yr or 2...then sask ends up going from a Faj...to a Vaj....and that will be glorious hahaha

Sounds just about right - I could see Edmonton making a play for  BLM as well.

Evans in SSK with Cofaj in a new Masoli/Evans #1/#2 competive situation would PROBABLY be the best option for him.  Cofaj is a decent "change of pace" QB and you can't rely on Evans to be in the right spot mentally for any given game.

If the coaching staff was honest about platooning, ran practices so that either QB was ready and both players were willing to set aside their ego's
