What the Bombers scouting team needs to be looking for is a bigger 220-230 pound bruising running back to complement Grigsby; a guy like Anthony Allen.  We need a RB who can get 5 yards on every down.  Grigsby is getting a little better at hitting the line harder, but getting 2 yards on first down just isn't acceptable.

The riders players come across throughout the game as real jerks. Really as bad as I can remember in the CFL.

I told you all in chat, blaming the loss on not going for it is absolutely stupid. The defense needed one stop, instead they let the Riders march the entire field to score... I'll say it again for the slow people, the defense let the riders march the entire length of the field to score. blame them for not being able to get a stop when needed nothing else. It came down to them in crunch time and they failed.

I think he Demarco may be a little better than KG even.  He just is UTP.

In a company the size of the WBB's.  The position of COO is redundant especially when you have an active President/CEO in Miller.

Who would have thought Odell Willis would still be playing and at a high level.  I know I didn't.  

I'm not impressed by either of them.  Both can't seem to break a tackle if they're life depended on it. 
 
All I want for Xmas is for the WBB's to go out and find a power back that can break a tackle or two.  I personally would give up a little in the speed department for a guy that can keep his legs pumping and gain additional yardage after the first touch.

The truth might be that we don't currently have a good RB on the roster.

1.  We have a good QB but the supporting cast needs improvement
2.  With Nick Moore in the line up our receivers can stack up to any other group in the league
3.  Our O-line doesn't look as good as it did in the beginning of the year but that's mainly due to the abandonment of the run game
4.  Willy is one TOUGH customer
5.  Our defence is on the smaller side and as we all predicted, Etch's defence is old hat and the other teams are developing schemes on how to beat it
6.  Kicking game...no real concerns there
7.  O'Shea is the best coach we've had since Dave Ritchie but is still learning the ropes.  But I'd rather have O'Shea than Higgins
8.  I'm not sure what we can do on defence as most fixes would probably require new personnel and that's difficult to do during the season
9.  We may just have found a returner that is a real threat to take one everytime he touches the ball
10. We're significantly better than last year and honestly had no expectations that we'd make the playoffs this season
 
In short, sure I hated to loose the last two games but this team is still a work in progress and don't forget that our starting QB has less than 12 CFL starts under his belt. It will only get better with our coaching and more experience.
