Not sure why we don’t get to play Hamilton to start the season. Beating up on Ottawa isn’t an ideal way to start the season in terms of entertainment but I guess it will be a good way to ease into the season.

He was a pretty miserable guy but to be honest I didn’t really have a problem with him. He was if anything entertaining.

Speaking of “Nate” does anyone have an update on him? Really didn’t like him but I can admit he was entertaining. I think he was so jaded by the time he got banned here he wasn’t even a bombers fan anymore.

He had a long term plan when he came here. Glad upper management gave him the chance and time to accomplish it. Things looked bleak in 2015. I was unsure of O’Shea at the time but I wanted us to stick with Walters so bad. Glad we stuck with both.

I’m sure Walters had an idea. The guy is a genius. He knows his football. He’s still so young when it’s all said and done he’s going to be one of the greatest GM’s of all time.

Ha! Similar journey man! We were probably too young to be on forums at the time but I think I held my own in arguments. Had a family of pretty damn good coaches and well played provincial ball myself. This two peat is so special because of what we’ve had to go through. We’ll lose some players, that’s the nature of the game. People will always try to sign players from championship squads. I’m fully confident in Walters ability to replace those players. Or scouting has been phenomenal. We still have a great core here so I don’t see any of the big guy names leaving. But someone of our other guys will most certainly take the money, but those are guys who are good Ofcourse but I’m confident we can replace.

I started out on our bombers as a 12 year old back in the early 2000’s. Found this place in 2012 as a young adult. Probably went years where I either just browsed or posted seldomly. I recognize a lot of the old usernames from the old site, a lot of great new posters from this site. I’m now 30 years old and me and my girl friend bought our first house together last year and I think I’ve had to sacrifice some of the things such as going out to watch the game, or going to all the games, so I’ve really grown accustomed to watching the game at home and having a beverage, with MBB in the background so I can chat with you guys. It’s a hell of a journey and a great community to be a part of!

I would be very surprised if we brought back all three Canadian running backs. I think a team like the Riders maybe get rid of Powell and take a run at someone like Augustine and have Lafrance as their backup.

I’m 30 and I can tell you for certain I feel very similar to you. A lot of heart ache to get where we are today. It’s just such a great metaphor for life going through the ups and downs and the struggles to where we are and where this team was today.

No way we would win without Castillo. Once we traded for him I was pretty confident about our chances of winning it all. He came up huge in the biggest game of his career.
