  1. Love to see Grant more involved with the O
  2. Weird. Looked good to me but I’ll take it!
  3. Look at the body language from the Argos QB’s on the bench. they look defeated already.
  4. Collaros looking in MVP form. So cool and collective under pressure.
  5. Man the east sucks. I can’t see a single eastern team with a winning record this season..
  6. Our Secondary is going to feast if MB-T continues to throw those fluttery air balls all day.
  7. Haha it was apparent he wasn’t even close to 100 percent healthy. Looks a lot quicker out there today!!
  8. Yeah I actually don’t mind not playing every team- home and away as long as you play them at least once. As much as I like beating up on Ottawa and Hamilton I would rather beat up on Saskatchewan 3 times instead 😀
  9. We played 14 games last year and we didn’t play Ottawa once. It boggles my mind how this can happen in a “professional” league. I love the CFL but this is bush league.
  10. Love me some Andrew Harris over the years but at this point it’s a different injury every week, he’s had a heavy work load for over a decade. Even if Oliveria and Augustine haven’t been lighting it up it was time to move on from him regardless.
  11. I don’t mean to sound biased but we easily have the best set of home and away jerseys in the league. So clean.
  12. Hopefully a better effort this week. After two weeks I was second place ( one point off from first) and now I’m sitting in seventh.
  13. Putting up back to back 2000 yard seasons (running and receiving) in 2005 and 2006 with how putrid our offensive line was is nothing short of greatness. He was without a doubt one of the most dominating running backs of all time.
  14. Looking forward to seeing tonight’s game. I think Ottawa is likely better then their 0-2 start and will have something to prove, and I want to see if B.C comes back down to earth. They’re not going to win every game by 40 points so should be an interesting game tonight.
  15. No it’s pretty forward, he’s usually taking the line backer off the edge if there’s a blitz, or anyone who gets through the initial rush. If there’s multiple guys getting through that’s more of a break down of the offensive line and certainly not on the runningback.
  16. Yeah I would like to be a fly on the wall and know the justification for Oliveria over Augustine. I don’t see durability being an issue, he’s 5’9 200 pounds of pure muscle, we had a 150 pound running back get 350 touches every season, and that’s with a guy who smoke and drank after every game.
  17. Well the thing is we had 3, 100 plus yard games with Oliveria and Augustine in 7 games started between the two, obviously I think Oliveria needs to show more, and even Augustine to an extent (but hard to judge off so few carries) but it’s clear we’re not getting the huge holes we were getting in the past couple of seasons by the hogs upfront. Hopefully it will continue to get better because atleast on the pass blocking front we’ve been getting better week to week.
  18. Ummm YES as a former running back it hurts my heart to only see Augustine get two carries, me personally.. I liked to be fed early and often but I realize we’re not a run first team but that’s why I like the idea of a 50/50 split going into the fourth and whoever takes control of the game deserves to close it. Most running backs normally get better later as the defense tires, we’ve seen that for years with Harris where fourth quarter was his time to shine.
  19. I think it’s one of those years where 9 or 10 wins will be good enough for first place. East has been a dumpster fire for so long.
  20. I still don’t understand why he gets 15 carries, and Augustine gets 2, it should be closer to dead even in my opinion and then go with the back down the stretch who is producing more to close out the game.
  21. Talk about a shitty schedule we play 3 games in 12 days starting on the 4th with no bye until the middle of August.
  22. Exactly we’re two time champs, and first in the west at 3-0, playing BC doesn’t prove who the better team is, they need to prove they can hang with us, not the other way around.
  23. Pretty sure Oliveria has 2, 100 yard rushing games, and Augustine had 1 in 7 games started between the two where Harris had 2 in 7 games. I do agree we started transitioning into more of a pass first team but we always utilized our running game pretty evenly.
  24. He put up 800 passing yards, and 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in his first two starts, I didn’t say identical but certainly similar no? My whole point was TSN was ready to announce him as the next great quarterback but once more film came out, teams were able to adjust to his play and scheme and he came back down to earth, in which I believe Rourke will too. He’s an exciting young prospect sure but I didn’t love how off the mark he was making throws down the field while having zero pressure put his way and not a single defender in sight. To me that’s a little bit of a red flag, sure he made the reads and ultimately the throw, but Defensive Coordinators will see tape and he will have to make some adjustments, especially against a good defense.
