  1. Ceresna is straight up nasty. If we’re going to continue the rush 3/4 at the quarterback we need some big boys that are going to get through the interior quick. Ceresna is that guy. Par him with Lawson and all of a sudden I think you’ll see more opportunities from our ends.
  2. I would love to bring a guy like Joe Robustelli to complete our core. 6’3, 220 he looks like a future star in the making. Just stuck behind a deep and talented core. Bring him in with White, Wilson, and Demski and now we’re cooking.
  3. Yes. We need that alpha target, game on the line, makes the big catch. Demski is a great player, Wilson is a very good player but we need someone to replace what we lost in Lawler. Austin Mac is that guy.
  4. Things were going so well this off season, and then they just couldn’t help them selves and decided to get the gang back together. 2019 is going to be 7 years ago this season. You can rationalize bringing back one or two of these guys ( I would have moved on from all 3 but that’s just me) but all 3.. Clearly Walters and O’Shea are still living in the glory days; if teams like Montreal can move on from a 28 year old star because of injuries and objectively not living up to his contract I think it’s a no brainer about Wilson.
  5. There’s another guy in Montreal I would like us to take a chance on that we wouldn’t have to break the bank and that’s Charleston Rambo. Only 26 years old and had nearly 900 receiving yards as a rookie.
  6. At a guy turning 35 this year ? Good player but wouldn’t be my first target. Seems like he signed at a reasonable deal to stay in Ottawa.
  7. I need to see numbers before I pass judgment.
  8. I’m ok moving on from all 3 Amazing news about Vaval. I thought he was going to be one and done and get some NFL looks due to his age, but this is great news. He has a chance to become one of the all time great returners.
  9. Sayles was noticeably disruptive every time I’ve watched the bombers play the Ti-Cats. But if he was our big get on the D-Line I think I would be disappointed.
  10. I don’t think this should be a surprise. If you lock up any young All star player, prior to free agency you already know they’re going to be getting compensated by choosing not to make it to free agency.
  11. I remember when Holm was one of Booch’s original whipping boys.
  12. Great move! We’ve brought back all the right guys this off season.
  13. Kramdi is a really good player lol he’s a very smart football player and is always in good position. The one downside is he’s just average athletically but he can hold his own in coverage and the run based on his football IQ alone. Obviously they pay him like he’s an elite player but hes more of a jack of all trades, master of none in my opinion. But by all reports he’s become the leader of the defense and he’s another quality Canadian player so I understand to an extent, if you’re going to pay a player the dollars they’re giving out at a guy in his position you really need to have an elite attribute in my opinion.
  14. 600k for Zach is too much. He’s had a good career and earned his fair share. I mean you only take what is offered but I would have liked to see us have more flexible for salary at the quarterback position. We’re still paying him like he’s 2022 Zach and not 2026. Not the end of the world but I would have liked to see a deal similar to what Harris is making.
  15. Fine with it. I’m not sure if we’re ever going to expect him to be a starter at this point but as a depth player on the o-line I’m perfectly fine with having him back. Can’t ever have too many capable Canadian OL on the roster.
  16. 3 years. 290 k this upcoming year. Yeah it’s a lot but for one of the very best players in the league in the prime of his career and a home town hero to boot. It’s a no brainer, especially with the rising cap. I would take Brady at 290 over Keon Hatchers at 330k any day of the week.
  17. Love it! I love that Wilson and Lawson are the first two guys signed. I think it means we’re prioritizing the youth. There was so many times I saw Lawson double and tripled teamed and he still got to the quarterback. He’s a beast and will only look even better next once we get some help beside him.
  18. Nice to hear about Pokey! One of our young talented game breakers. This was a must. Really happy with the schedule as well. Not sure why it was so difficult to put out a balanced schedule, but I’ll give the credit when it’s due.
  19. Nice signing! Great pedigree. Good college numbers, started a game in the NFL and got a ring with the Rams, and the UFL MVP! Now let’s sign Taylor Egersma and I feel good about our quarterback room.
  20. Saskatchewan prioritized a strong o-line, a deep D-line that gets pressure and a strong bruising running game that wears you down. Sound familiar?
  21. Leading receiver on a 10-3 Oklahoma team. Nearly 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games played. Could do a lot worse in terms of pedigree.
  22. I’ve said it for awhile. If Davis Alexander is healthy, Montreal is the best team in the league. We would have had a chance against Hamilton today if we found a way to pull that one out.
  23. I was looking at the 2021 CFL all stars. The Bombers dominated the west with 15 (4 this year for comparison) and the thing that is really crazy is we had 6 out of the 9 available spots on the O-Line and D-Line, and not a single player this year in either of those positions btw, it all starts with the complete overhaul in the trenches, to me there’s not a single starter that should feel 100 percent safe on both sides of the line except in my opinion Cam Lawson.
  24. I think part of it has to do with O’Shea and the old boys club. Look at the few free agents we did sign in Jones and Mitchell. Both couldn’t sniff the field. Think teams entering free agency want to come here? Who knows if they will even get a chance to see the field. When it comes to young talent entering the league would they rather go to a place like Winnipeg, or a place like BC, Montreal, Toronto, etc where as long as you have talent you have a chance to make the team and are put in a position to show case talent. I think we’re suffering a lot because of O’sheas stubbornness with his roster management.
  25. Pressure in Alexander’s face. You love to see it.
