  1. Classic Bowman. Those plays happen far too often and that's why he has no business being MOP.
  2. Who else would they go to? They have no choice but to stick with Crompton. But, I don't see him doing nearly as well without Carter and potentially Green. He's still the worst starting QB in the league aside from maybe Glenn & Burris.Exactly. Which is why I assume they'd try to upgrade. Guys like Nichols, Tate and Brohm come to mind. Would any one of those guys be an upgrade over Crompton though? It seems like a lateral move at best. But, they should still try to bring in one of them as the number two who can push Crompton if they don't have any confidence in Tanner Marsh. There's no way they can go into next season with Alex Brink as the back up QB.

  4. Unlikely. Signed a contract extension through 2016 in June. As a fan of a Western team I hope that you're correct. BC has been regressing since he's taken over and they don't have another QB aside from Glenn on their roster. I love it.
  5. Yup. I'm happy with O'Shea, Montreal can keep Higgins.
  6. Why not? He's one of the best short yardage QB's I've seen. If you've got a good starter, then having Goltz on your team to do short yardage is a no brainer. Isn't Goltz basically taking the place of Pat White, the Eskies short yardage rushing QB that is hurt right now? Makes perfect sense to me. The only difference in Goltz & White is the color of their skin. Aside from that, they're almost identical players.
  7. Kind of fits considering how crappy this entire year has been. Crompton vs Glenn isn't much better either.
  8. I don't care how good Bowman's stats are, he most definitely doesn't deserve to be MOP. He still leaves almost as many plays on the field as he makes.
  9. So Mike, tell me... If he is fired who will hire him as a DC? Please fill me in. Be interested in your take. ... what's your point? That he's the worst Defensive Coordinator in the league and we can clearly do better.
  10. Semi Finals BC 17 Montreal 14 Sask 24 Edmonton 17 Division Finals Calgary 31 Sask 24 Hamilton 28 BC 14 Grey Cup Calgary 28 Hamilton 21
  11. Chris Randle was absolutely robbed of a spot.
  12. If Lulay's not ready to play at full speed & is completely healthy then what's the point? Might as well dress the nobody third stringer. Even if he's completely healthy he's barely played all season and would be rusty as all hell, so that's why you wouldn't start him, but if he's healed why wouldn't you put him as a backup in case you need him? That shoulder.... No way it stands up to any kind of hits. What a way to treat your franchise qb. Benevides worrying about the short term & not the long one. Franchise QB? Lulay has somewhere between one and three games left in a Lions uniform.
  13. As fans we don't deserve to have to suffer through Nichols & Joseph in a playoff game.
  14. Not sure that either of them is a big upgrade on Demarco, and I'm personally not a DeMarco fan.
  15. Glenn starts regardless of Lulay's health. Now, if Glenn is struggling and Lulay is healthy then you might try to bring in Lulay off the bench.
  16. The realistic situation would've been Burris to Winnipeg, Willy to BC and Glenn stays in Ottawa.
  17. Aside from Matt Forte you could make the argument that Marshall, Jeffery and Bennett have all underachieved this year.
  18. No way does Kevin Glenn go into Hamilton and win the East Final assuming they beat Montreal(which by no means is any sort of guarantee).
  19. Next season the Bombers win those games. I'm confident Bombers win at least 9-10 games next season. Could've won them this year too. We were outplayed at the QB position - rest of the team played well enough to win those games. Willy had his struggles towards the end of the season, however, in the games against the RIders at home and against Hamilton he outplayed the opposing QB. You are just making crap up. He was pretty brutal in the first game against the Riders. I thought that was one of his worst games actually. Those three picks he threw were absolute killers. They hurt, However, I blame 2 out of 3 of those on the play calling and on a receiver making no effort to go to the ball. Fact of the matter is that we scored more points on offence than they did. If we could stop turning the ball over for TDs, or stop Dressler on KRs this series looks a lot different. Who gets a FG blocked for a TD? The luck was running the Riders way. Willy played well. He was not the cause of any of our defeats to the Riders. In the first game he lost a fumble for a touchdown, threw a terrible pick six that gave up the lead in the last three mins and then to top it off he threw another pick by forcing a deep ball on the ensuing drive. Willy can definitely wear the horns for the first Rider game. It's interesting actually, even though the stats don't back it whatsoever, I think Wily easily played his best game against the Riders on Labor Day.
  20. Damn we're one bitter fan base. But who can blame us? 1990 says it all.

  22. The Riders were completely imposing their will on us in the Banjo Bowl before Durant got hurt.
  23. You're right, Ottawa should be given a roster that makes them Grey Cup favorites next time.
  24. If the Riders had lost tonight, they would be 9-9. They split the season series with B.C. and they won the point differential by 9 points. Am I missing something? Would they not have finished third even if they lost today? They lost to BC by 13 and won by four. They lost the point differential not won it.
  25. It was also a serious under throw by Crompton. That ball could've been picked off because it took so long to get there. Did anyone else notice how Crompton was talking to Green on the sidelines after the fumble for a touchdown? I had a feeling that conversation was about going deep to him next series.
