  1. I would gladly start an extra Canadian on D to get Bond in the lineup over Neufeld.
  2. Just a year ago that would’ve been a fantastic football play.
  3. You can’t go back and block for your QB? Dumb rule change. Yet if you touch someone, it’ll be holding. What the heck are you supposed to do?
  4. Our savior looks terrible. I guess it’ll be the Ross show for awhile.
  5. Clueless.. im sick of hearing about Manziel too.
  6. Jones looked worse than Hurl on that “tackle” attempt.
  7. They’ll have a very tough time keeping him off of the roster.
  8. 59 put up zero resistance against Willis. Yikes.
  9. He hasn’t won a game in years and was replaced by Masoli. I’m not sure what on earth the Riders were expecting from him.
  10. It was strange we hung him out to dry when had an absolute horrific supporting cast. We had no receiving core last year without Darvin Adams and Weston Dressler in the lineup.
  11. Matt Nichols was, who was then given to the Bombers for a bag of chips after a 5-2 start and was replaced by Franklin.
  12. I’m sure Masoli won’t cost the farm. The Ticats would love to have an excuse to go with Manziel while collecting assets. Plus, they’d still have a component back up in Adams. With that being said, I would probably prefer Adams to Masoli.
  13. In my experiences, the guys who go 1 for 8 and say they didn't think they played badly are usually the guys you don't end up wanting around. We'll see how he does this week.
  14. If we had to make a move for a QB, I see Masoli or Adams in the Hamilton being the most likely targets.
  15. He could be the best receiver in the league if he's healthy.
  16. I should bump the thread from last year where I pointed out how Faith is hardly a CFL player and this entire board grilled me. He's going to amount to less than Garrett Waggonner. Jake Thomas is a far player than Ekakitie. Remember, this guy was supposed to be CFL ready when we picked him. The Wyman article alluded to many of the concerns that came with Ekakitie prior to us drafting him. Showing up out of shape, lazy, lack of effort etc. It's a shame that you either take a good player (Gray) and may never get him, or you take a play who will play in the CFL and never in the NFL (Ekakitie) but who sucks.
  17. We don’t exactly have a coach who’s known for making changes or benching veteran players. I’d (sadly) be willing to bet that a guy like Lankford isn’t going anywhere.
  18. Eh, removing Willy, Macho, and Neufeld and replacing them Nichols, Loffler, and Bond is what made us the the team we are today. It’s a team game sure but when it comes to the O-line or secondary one player is fully capable of making the entire unit look bad.
  19. We can’t forget Lin J Shell and we definitely can’t forget Macho Harris.
  20. Lankford is the type of player who’s great when there’s no hitting. He’s no where to be found when the lights are on. Now that we’ve dumped Hurl, he’s the last pet project we need to get rid of him.
  21. We need to cut the linebacker who won't give his number to Bighill. Bighill deserves whatever number he wants for signing here.
  22. I’m surprised he wasn’t picked up prior to camp. He’s a solid rotational player.
  23. Can you get Shankman to make an account here so we can all roast him for a day?
  24. I don’t see a healthy Wild or JSK being sat though. My guess is that Oko will end up being a cap causality and we’ll use Corney instead of an import there.
  25. Yes, and quite often last year Flanders replaced Weston Dressler or Clarence Denmark. He can very easily replace Dressler or Bowman on occasion. We also gave Flanders a nice contract extension, we didn’t do it so he could ride the pine. We realized last year that our O is much more efficient with the added and unique dimension that Flanders brings to the table. I don’t see a guy like Demski having the abilities to replace Flanders. Demski will bring his own unique abilities to the table if he plays to his potential, but he’s a different player than Flanders. There’s no reason to think that Flanders isn’t a shoo in to be on the active roster. The key point being missed here is that Flanders could conceivably be better than any new import receivers we have. Flanders did well as a starting receiver last year.
