I don't know what the calls were...and what the defense presented to counter...nor do you...We may have called more Harris touches in redzone, but if the defense took it away...then whats the point...It all came down to what Zack called when he did his pre-snap reads...If you think we call a play and thats that and you run it regardless then your pretty ...not to be rude...dumb...thats not how it works.
When an offence controls the clock by almost 12 minutes..has zero turnovers...scores 30+ points...and wins the game with balanced offence...yeah in my experience thats a pretty damn good called game...not sure what you wanted/expected but the end result was a W

Correct... I agree, if the Bombers fielded a punt on or inside Hamilton's 45 they would have been in Medlock's range, but that wasn't the case.  If that's your argument can you provide the stats as to where the Bombers fielded the ball on each one of Medlock's field goal attempts? The offense moved the ball into scoring range, the Bombers weren't "gifted" with 18 points by virtue of punts fielded deep inside Hamilton's half of the field.  At least not in the game I watched.

People need to lose the notion that stalled drives are on an OC..Other team's are scheming against us to stop our scheme...thats football....I gotta say our 2 coordinators over the last 4 games were key in us winning...plain and simple...they gave our players the knowledge and plan to win...and they executed it to perfection
We gave up 3 TD's all play-offs...3!!...and forced turnovers with picks...strips...and on 3rd down gambles
Offensively...no turn-overs...and everytime a team scored on us...next drive we pretty much got it back...controlled the clock...the LOS..and won...we stalled on a few drives and got FG's instead of TD's but we got points...kept other teams offence off the field and our players were put in spots, and given great coaching to not make errors...kudos all around...this was a total team championship right down From Walters savy trade to the lowest position coach on the totem pole, and right through the roster...the whole roster..Guys like Hansen..Gauthier..Speller..Exume...Kongbo..Desjarlais..Bailey..Lawler all had game altering impacts to go along with our stars...back-ups stepping in to have to start...rookies making plays...foot soldiers doing key things...the whole TEAM won this...and we still had guys like Roh..Whitehead..Gray..Fenner ..Oliveira Couture not even able to get in line-up but if they did all capable of starting and having an impact..this team is set up nicely

Lapo and Hall both called excellent games on Sunday. Stalled drives just might be attributed to Hamilton's number one defence doing their best to keep them in the game. End of the day when you hang 30+ on their defence, and you keep their O to under 15 points your coordinators have done an excellent job preparing the players, game planning and calling plays. Those are just the facts. There have been times each of these guys have deserved criticism, but you have to be highly biased not to give these guys their due for Sunday.

I find it interesting and - to be honest - annoying that there are still people on this site bitchin’ about Lapo AFTER we won the fackin’ Grey Cup.
The guy is working with his third starting quarterback and ONLY managed to direct an offense that averaged 29.3 points per game while on the road for all 3 games!
In addition, I have noticed that the folks who seem to have a greater level of expertise – people like Stegall, Orlando Steinauer, the defenders on Hamilton – seem to convey a lot of respect for Lapo.
Simoni Lawrence specifically singled him out as being a “very creative“ and difficult to cope with offensive coordinator.
So, for the love of gawd, people,  even if we can’t agree that some of you who are the heaviest critics of Lapo seem to lack any modicum of common sense, can we at least agree to uphold a moratorium on Lapo bashing for one week following our winning of the Grey cup?

Yup. Unlike previous years, no clear favorite to win it all this year. 29 years of futility not winning the Grey Cup with legitimate feeling of here we go again but still hope. Why not.
Wrong sport but Let's not be like an Oiler 'fan' and decide when to throw the jersey in the garbage and when to wear it influenced by how well they are doing. Yell at the team but always wear the colors.

    1. There were 3 instances where costly penalties kept the the Calgary offense on the field, which resulted in points.  One which was what should have been a game changing sack.  Another was an illegal contact call after a critical knock down up front. These things can be corrected.
    2. BLM passing for 300+ yards - that is to be expected when they are playing the best QB in the league.  That is not and should not be a criticism of the Defense.
    3. Our passing game is what it is.  Combined with the running game, the offensive totals were similar - the Stamps had 50 yards more
    4. In spite of this team's limitations, they lost by only 4 points.  The final 'drive' was not a back breaker.  The back breaker was allowing the Stamps to stay on the field in critical situations

People, this team is not done. They had some unfortunate and inopportune penalties that kept the Stamps on the field and resulted in points.  A QB and a team that fight this hard are going to make some noise yet.

Well Calgary has been a pretty big ******* hump! It's almost like not winning the west during the esks dynasty days.
Me I got no problem keeping the gm and head coach who turned around a tire fire and built a team that is always competitive for a while longer.
But some of you with the championship or  just mentality... that's how this mess started in the first place! Ritchie can't get em over the hump fire him! Look at the cycle that took.

Except we've had double digit win totals 4 straight years... so it's odd phrasing. Keep doing that the playoff wins will come.

Correct. They both signed 3-year extensions in 2016, which added three years to Walters existing contract that went until 2017. He's here for another year and hopefully more.
MOS likes to let his contracts run out betting on himself. I expect him back next year and hopefully for many more.

Hopefully this encourages Conner to get his deal done, and for Buff to make a final decision.
I have concerns regarding Laine's consistency, especially in his own end, but there is no doubt about his ability to put pucks in the net.   I would suggest that it is better for the team to have this deal done, and to get on with playing hockey.    Holdouts cause disruption to a team, and now they have one less to worry about.

Ya know he wasn't forced into a life of crime,  other people have managed to pay off medical bills doing honest work.  You'd think playing in the NFL and CFL that he would of saved a nice healthy chunk of money over the years.
I don't know why anyone would make it seem like he was a victim.

Maybe the issue shouldn't be having to have the CFL pay.  Maybe the issue is living in the only country in the Western world that does not have universal health care.

Some of you may be too young to remember but I can remember paying $300 - 400/month in long distance bills when we lived in a rural Manitoba area. Then the market opened to competition and within 5 years our rates were down to under $10/month.
