The league doesn't need more challenges. One a game is plenty.
What the league does need is for the "eye in the sky" to overturn painfully obvious calls that a challenge shouldn't be wasted on.

I was hoping that the Tanev deal would be longer than 1 year.   I like his energy.   Hopefully they will re-up him for a longer term.   Looks like both sides went short term to avoid arbitration and maintain some good will.
Trouba is likely going to be traded as soon as a decent deal can be arranged.   I think that he has used up all of his chances here.   Good player, but after the hold out and now arbitration, I don't think he is in the teams good graces, and this team is built on character and chemistry, so I don't see a spot for him.

Nope, not good enough.  Tanev is much better right now.  Lemieux has upside but he has to start putting it together really soon.  Tanev is a solid hockey player.

Very quietly, this Bomber defense has improved a lot. Game plan compared to that Hamilton game has shifted now too. We are putting so much more emphasis on 4-man rushes, sinking our secondary into coverage and letting them play. Bighill and JSK are still really active against both the run and pass. And then when we do blitz it has a much bigger impact. I love it. Richie Hall deserves some love for that. Hope we can keep it going.
Offense was pretty darn good again today too. It sure seemed like they wanted to avoid the mistake of underutilizing Harris. Good outing for most. 
Three turnovers leading to so many quick points was unfortunate. Hilarious in my opinion to blame coaching when those guys are very reliable and still had good games too (Fogg, Harris, Demski).
Winning back to backs is really difficult, but this game gave me quite a lot of hope.

Yeah, it had nothing at all to do with the players not executing or taking dumb penalties.

I'm still upset by this loss as well.
My opinion is that it is more on the players than the coaches.    It's easy in hindsight to look back at the 3rd down gambles and criticize the call, but in all honesty, I was thinking "go for it" both times.  By doing so, the coaches showed confidence in their players, but the players failed to deliver.  
While I wasn't happy with the defence not getting the stop when we needed it, I would suggest that this one falls on the offence.   It's not very often you can win in this league with 17 points, and to get shut out in the 2nd half was the difference.   (Especially with all of the turnovers)
I still have great confidence in this team and the management, but the players need to learn how to finish their opponents off when they have the chance. 

National depth is a huge problem for this league....for all teams...sadly it only gets worse as the season progresses and injuries mount up. I would like to see more PR spots occupied by Nationals....help to develop your depth in your systems...Internationals are a dime a dozen and a phone call away.

Disappointing news, anyway. I thought Adidas has done a pretty nice job on these current iterations of CFL jerseys.

I voted "No" as I  believe this is Osh's decision.   A board and senior management should not micro manage a head coach.   GM and the board get involved in selection of the HC, but they should leave the assistant coaching decisions for the HC to make.      I have great confidence in Osh and believe he will take us to the promised land.

IIRC, he kicked Thomas Miles #52.    That's the sort of thing that the CFL should review after the game and apply supplemental discipline to.    It ought to have been called during the game, but it is possible that no official saw it.    If an official saw it and didn't throw a flag, then that official should be called to account.  A deliberate kick like that should lead to an ejection.
 

Yes. We will win. Why? Because we are better than they are. 
That's the bottom line.. Back to back is irrelevant and a talking point in sports... The better team will win.
