Very much reminds me of the 2013 era Bombers.

If the stats im reading are correct the Bombers defence placed as follows :
1st - points allowed (370)
2nd- rush yards (1607)
2nd - passing yard 4330
sure we can spin this in several ways, this or that, but the reality is we are near the top of the league in 3 major categories. I would like to see our takeaways and sacks but couldn't find that immediately 
Not coming back. He's going to have a good career up there

@DTonOB You praised Sayles and the TiCats picking him up in FA. 
I would say that most at MBB were disappointed with his performance last year and don't feel as though we'll miss him. Why do you think the TiCats paid that much for him? And, what did you see that made you think he's a good pickup for the TiCats (or a loss for the Bombers)?

A good friend of mine worked for obby for a long time and let me say without going into detail he was not good to his staff at all.
Not a fan of his based on what I know. Mind you this was a few years ago now and maybe he's changed his practices 
 

Went to high-school with Thorpe, we hung out in the same group of friends. Very smart guy and was well informed even then

You're forgetting about Obby. The guy should be in charge of the department of government grants. Received the most Covid funding grants from the PCs while unsure which party he would join. Soon after receiving the grant he joins the PCs and his business is no more.
Wondering if they are trying to add to the resume of some of these candidates to give them more credibility for the next election. I know Obby and Klein were tight in the byelections and I wouldn't be surprised to see Teitsma and Morley-Lecomte pushed too. I'm sure they'll all be front and centre giving away tax dollars making a ton of announcements over the next few months with Stefanson in preparation for the next election.

Kyrie and Alexander are key pieces. If anything I'd be critical of us lacking some depth at LB and DT. The defence had a "down" year and was still on the better half of most statistics. Let's take the wait and see approach...

I'd like to know what the plan is at DT after letting Sayles walk. Are they just going to bring in a bunch of Americans and let them battle it out for the starting spot? The two Jeffs were much more dangerous when they had a proven stud in the middle(Stove) eating up blocks.

After realizing your receiving corps this season is going to be Lawler/Schoen/Bailey/Demski/Wolitarsky, how long did it take for your erection to subside?

I really can't believe the organization allows him to keep his job. It's surprising to me the CFL doesn't step in and say hey this isn't good for the league
 

@Noeller no defence for this guy now. Man is ballsack just so incredibly stupid 

Like a lot of things in life it's choosing the lesser of the two (three, four five etc) evils because sometimes (alot?) the gaps between them are quite large/significant. 

In his defense (and I feel gross....) Ball didn't actually SAY the slanderous thing.... He just agreed with it. It's not a lot better, but a little. 

Honestly when I heard he signed for less, I thought you know anywhere from 15 to 25. Which is still a lot and as a bomber fan I'd be gracious for, but 60 + cements him as a one of my favorite players
