Great news but... the majority of the world is unvaccinated meaning more variants will appear. Until we get poor countries vaccinated properly we'll never get a handle on the new variants. Yes, we'll need a booster shot in 6-12 months but wiil we run into "vaccine fatigue" where people will just say **** it not get a third shot? Certainly, the anti vaxxers will be out in full force claiming governments are indeed trying to change our DNA or some other ridiculous claims. People who are unvaccinated will be more at risk of being targets of Covid 19. Billions more vaccine shots need to get into poor third world countries to stop this pandemic. Waiving patents has to be done so more vaccines can be reproduced.

I have MOST of the 2019 wins (losses get deleted ASAP) on my PVR and have rewatched probably a dozen times each in the last many many many months. I love those games, but am SO excited for something new. I like hockey, love curling, but am INSANE about CFL football....it's gonna be great.

Wife wanted to rewatch GC107 last night, so we fired that up. I am so f***ing ready for this season........not sure if Saturday is just physicals or if it's actually Day 1 of Camp, but either way, I expect a full report!

regarding that roster..... I'm really curious to see if either of the Hallett's stake a claim to Safety during camp (BA is scheduled to start camp there, as per Our Man Tait), allowing BA to move over to one of the Corner/HB spots. That'll be a neat thing to watch throughout camp. Other than that, it's all about The Leg and how he performs once the lights come on. Other than that, that roster looks pretty damn good...

Lol . If nothing else the guy is consistent. In his mind everything comes down to money .I wonder if his kids were/are restricted to 2 squares of TP.

Personally and from what I've seen on this site no one is offended. I have seen little outrage although I'm sure there is some. Some people just disagree with what has happened or the way it happened. Most will also have a understanding that when people are angry and frustrated sh** happens and in this case rightly or wrongly a couple of statues were toppled.

If we signed Jennings, the argument from TB would be “why are we bringing him in, Ottawa only won 3 games with him, etc etc”
god I missed you

I would argue our qbs don't win us games anyway. They just manage the game (a weakness of Jennings to be sure) and let the rest of the pieces do the work.
McGuire might suck, or he might be ok, we already know Jennings sucks.

Last time I checked, Walters and O'Shea led the boys to win a Grey Cup. I'm very much confident they know what they're doing.
Think you're better than 'em, give them some slack Doubter TBurg.

I don't know if it's been mentioned but I just noticed we have surpassed the USA in vaccination rate. 106.4 per 100 in Canada and 99.03 per 100 in the States. They really must have stalled out at some point.

The Spaniards managed to kill over 10 million without the help of automatic weapons or explosives. The practice of slaughtering opponents is not restricted to Europe or North America. It happened in Africa, Asia and South America. Even the aboriginal peoples in North America practiced genocides when able. There's a lot of blood on a lot of hands. And it is going on in mainland China right now with Uighurs, Mongolians and Tibetans.

Maps don't remotly show the brutality of the conqueror. The Spanish 's favorite way of submission to both leaders and religion was burning you alive. Hundreds of thousands worked to death at times without food. Historical records burned and destroyed. Citys leveled. Their history in the middle Americas is on a lecel with what the Romans did. Its brutality is unmatched by anything else in the Americas. None of this negates what the British did but your statements are factually wrong

Yes but it is a homo sapien thing. Take a look at the history of Japan in Korea.Or in China. Rome , The middle East or Africa. We happen to live in a place and in a time the sees the ugly result of European colonization.
Agreed 👍

Or the French, Spanish, Portuguese ,German, Dutch Empires..... It was the way of the times of every empire or wanna be empire. It doesn't make it right but if you want to discuss the damage of colonization outside Canada include everyone. The British were no better or worse than the rest.
