IDK but if you read the RF.com threads apparently Calgary, TO, Hamilton and Sask are still better then the rest of the league....They got 1-4 right...guess that's good enough TO doesn't look good right now, Hamilton and Ottawa ditto. BC, Montreal the verdict is still out as are our Bombers. Calgary and Edmonton are dominant at this point.

That was pretty much the same hit Washington put on the Edmonton receiver... Only the impacts were similar. Anderson had straight on visuals of the play right in front of him and had to have seen the ball sail by the receiver. He still took a full step + before delivering the blow. Washington could not have seen the ball being knocked down as he was delivering the hit. Yeah it's not how hard he hit him it's the fact that he hit him when he didn't have to. He likely did see the ball go by and yet still stepped into a vulnerable receiver with his helmet. Im sure he will get fined for it but it's not enough imo.

That DA hit was garbage. How many times are we going to say it.....he needs to be kicked out of the league. He keeps getting away with those hits and he's going to seriously injure someone one of these days.

I give a ton of credit to Edmontons D. They will win a lot of games for them this year (2011 Bombers?). They only managed what 19 offensive points? That won't win you a lot of games. Reilly needs to be careful or he will end up in the IR or the mental hospital if he keeps scrambling like that. Bombers made too many mental mistakes like dropped balls, missed tackles etc. we said it before the game. The team who played with less mistakes was going to win this one. Next week is going to be a good test for both Edmonton and the Bombers. For Edmonton are they really that good and can they stop Calgary? For the Bombers will they have a bounce back game against BC or were the Bombers exposed and just played above their ability the first 3 weeks. Gotta love the CFL!

No I don't think the OL was the biggest problem. Yeah they had some bad moments but the biggest problem by far were the receivers. There were times Willy had plenty of time to get the ball out and kept looking and looking and looking but no targets. Everything save for a couple passes were to check down options. And when he did get the ball away the receivers were as likely to drop it as they were to catch it. Grigsby served up 7 points failing to catch a pretty straight forward pass but instead he volleyed it up right to Willis who of course has an easy run into the endzone. Why oh why couldn't Willis do that in 2011 during the GC......things would be so much different around here

Apparently Bob Wylie was nowhere to be seen last night. Can someone who attended the game please confirm this? When we got to the game I swear I saw him in the south end zone during warm ups wearing the same white shirt he always does coaching the o line guys. Unless we have another 300+ lb man as a coach? I didn't see him during the game however.

I also liked how calm Drew Willy stayed throughout the whole drive. He didn't over react and yell at his recievers when they dropped a ball (Like Durant likes to do), he didn't pout when he missed his recievers (Like Glenn Does), and when he made the TD throw he didn't throw his fist in the air and celebrate like he had just won the Grey Cup (like Burris likes to do). He acted like Ray does, cool calm and collected from the start to the finish and he had no expression on his face even after the TD was made.

But as Jpan85 pointed out we wouldn't have been in that situation if Tisdale hadn't held Moore earlier. Tisdale single handedly lost that game for Montreal. Glad he is in Montreal

There was only two penalties. Not the prettiest drive but Burke probably would have told the team to take a knee and save our energy for the next game...

Also re-watched the game. Many of us were complaining about too many flags thrown but I'd say 85-90% of the calls were spot on and had to be called. We also got away with a PI call I feel in the fourth. The one Montreal challenged. Could have been a game ender. Washingtons first fumble he just didn't read the kick right and was trying to back up. The second was a really good strip by the defender. Even though Marve hasn't been spectacular on the one yard push he made everyone except one and one was for a TD. He seems to be getting a much bigger push from the oline. All in all I feel if they play the same type of game against EDM and can gain an early lead they can make it 4-0. Just watch their penalties and ball protection.

The more I think about this game the more I feel a Western team that is publicly owned, was in the basement of their division last year, Is currently 3-0 and has a rookie head coach from TO will win this game. Just a hunch.

Thats just it. I don't feel they could have come to a decision that quickly. They should have taken a few minutes to review. They just lined up and kicked the convert. He had it in his hands but it was out when he hit the ground.

So after we beat TO I told him to get tix to the Ottawa game. Now he's hooked lol. I just need to convince more to go. A lot are still not convinced that this team is any good and it's hard to argue with them until they are consistently winning

I just got a guy at work to get 6 tix. He's also getting tix to the first sask game and trying to find tix for the banjo bowl. I'll have him to seasons by next year I'm sure lol.
