Anyone else getting BUST vibes from Caleb Williams. The guy the media hypes tends to flop.

It seems like the opinions are more mixed then "for sure" with him.    It seems like drafting a guy on D or an o-lineman is a far safer bet with top NFL picks.

Sigh... can't Facebook do their down crap during a time when it doesn't matter to me (like when I'm sleeping?)

It's working for me and I can provide an update on what it looks like....    one normal post followed by a dozen unrelated ads or junk videos.    You are not missing much!

Pigrome was ******* awful in Ottawa.  He had more than one game where he had multiple turnovers on short-yardage.  Don't think the Bombers would sign him, honestly don't think anyone in the CFL will.  He's probably headed to arena ball.

As per the TSN stats it shows 0 fumbles from Pigromes.     As per CFL.ca it shows Pigromes as playing for the Blue Bombers and the stats don't even show fumbles because heaven forbid cfl.ca doesn't have comprehensive stats for the fans.

The Martin etc era was much shorter the post bishop era had soo many bad QBs it’s hard to compare.

    • Robert Marve
    • Dom Davis
    • Max Hall
    • Jason Boltus

    • Alex Brink
    • RJ Archer
    • Joey Elliott
    • Buck Pierce

    • Steven Jyles
    • Casey Bramlet
    • Ricky Santos
    • Bryan Randall
    • Richie Williams
    • Michael Bishop
    • Stefan Lefors

This is the list that I could come up with.... a whole lot of yikes.  I also didn't realize that Brink/Elliott lasted three seasons with us.

During this timeline... the only QB that had a good TD to INT ratio was Jyles with  19 TD - 7 ints.    A really ugly time.

Nice...minimizing sexual harrassement. You must be a fun guy at the office parties. In what world is hitting on a co-worker to the point of harrassment, then starting rumors about her to her co-workers, then threatening her with harm, acceptable to you? This is not acceptable behavior in any professional setting....EVER.

Do you have something in your past that you want to share?  That's quite the odd stretching of what TBURGESS had said.

Did you know that some women have made false claims of harassment/abuse/assault.  It is possible.

In the celebrity world just look at the Amanda Heard /  Johnny Depp fiasco to see an example of a woman with zero reasons to make false claims as she is rich and famous.... yet she did out of hatred.

Maybe. Should be a pretty easy investigation then. However, not many professionals burn their bridges in a close knit industry for attention or just to randomly character assassinate someone. Is it possible? Sure it is. The probability of that is very, very low though.

I'd put the % of her being a crazy emotional woman wanting vengeance at quite a low percentage... but their is always a chance.   I've seen enough videos online of crazy girlfriends using their cars to ram into an ex or them going to their work places and going ballistic to never say never.

this is RAGE inducing. It's because of bullshit "trends" like this, that otherwise perfectly normal girls have a complex of some sort. I am constantly feeling sick for my niece and other young women in my life..

It's in bad taste but far from RAGE inducing.  Anyone who gets to a point of being RAGED by this should probably self reflect on why they get angry over the smallest things in life.

Or, as I trust that most people around here are men of middle age or more, I find it difficult to believe that nobody here has an acquaintance who went through an acrimonious divorce where allegations were made. These things happen in lawsuits. They are common leveraging tools. And the tell is that usually the civil suit is filed and no criminal one is. Because if there's a criminal suit, it always makes the civil one a tap-in.

Are you trying to tell us that "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"  and that in happens in real life....  Noooooooooooooo waaay!  :D

Wendy’s to start rolling out surge pricing with ‘AI-enabled menu changes’

No thanks,  I'd rather not drive out of my way to a Wendys only to find out that the prices are hiked up because they are busier.     I'm pretty sure during the quiet periods that Wendys won't be knocking down the prices of the food items by a large %.

And yet, is hockey failing in Winnipeg? Again?????

The level of love for football in the States compared to the love for hockey in Canada is not even close.

As times goes by and less people can afford Hockey and with Canada becoming more multi-cultural (i.e. immigrants with zero interest in hockey) ,  hockey is kind of slowly fading away from being a religion and into just another sport.

In the States the people are still insane for football... when High School football teams in small tiny towns can outdraw the Argos by a large margin it's pretty indicative that the love for football up here isn't all that much.

  11. Has Kelly been convicted yet or admitted guilt?   I am not a fan of the guy but I wouldn't quite call him a criminal until proven guilty.    I wouldn't expect the Argonauts to go public about something that isn't out of the realm of possibility of being a complete lie.     More information (or a court case) would be needed before truly reserving judgement.

Now with Kenny Lawler it's black and white... the dude was caught drunk driving.  Not much needed in that for proven guilt.
