And now we're beating a dead horse...but that's what was so maddening about it. They showed they could adjust and change things up against TO. That's how they came back in the regular season game against them. The one at home. They changed up what they were doing in the second half. I assumed that's how they'd attack in the GC....but they didnt...just....why? Why buck? Why'd you do us like that?

They mainly exploited our coaches inability to adapt and change a game plan when things were not working  (i.e.  use our MOP running back which was working and continue to run the ball)

So we're at the point where freisen is the trusted voice?

The time to be bold was last offseason and ship collaros to Ottawa and committed to Dru Brown. At worst their level of play was similar in 2023 (i believe Brown was actually better). 
Sadly they stuck with the old guy because they weren't interested in the short term risk for long term gain.

Was Buck ever made available to the press in the weeks following the GC? I don't ever recall hearing a peep from him until the HC discussions started up

No doubt it’s crazy. It’s like Emmitt smith being the all time nfl rushing leader. But not even close to a top 5 or even 10 back. 
 Is Jake a hofer? If mos has any thing to say lol. 
 
Honestly our dl talent in the all time pool hasn’t seen many guys join its rank in the past 30 years.  
 I like Jake for a big chunk of his career, especially as a rotational 3tech. (Though I did want more dual big nt imps in 19/21) 
Im good if he goes into our hall. Hes a great guy and has played a very fruitful career here. Never a selfish moment. His usage since stove left isn’t his fault. 
 I really hate what mos and others have done to guys like Jake. Watching guys run out who can’t play any more is awful. Unfortunately we’ve seen a hell of a lot of this the past 25 years. 

Garbage time points flattered the Chiefs. Eagles dominated the line of scrimmage without any need for blitz packages.

Are you referring to his post-GC remarks about having earned the right to know why he didn't touch the ball more? He wasn't the only one wondering what happened.

11 touches, I think 0 of them came when Wilson was in at QB, none when Zach came in with 91/2 fingers. We all wanted to ask Buck what the heck happened there. I read it as he wanted to do more for his team  but wasn't able to, it was out of his hands.

Not that I agree with the call but I’m assuming Brown’s hand shove to defenders face sealed the call. Refs better be consistent.

Patterson has zero passing ability from the pocket.  Dukes improved with reps and is still a big upside guy.  Main thing with Dukes is he needs to do a better job of managing the football and avoiding turnovers.  Patterson can't do anything with his arm to put fear in a defense.
IMO there's no reason to have Patterson and Streveler both on the roster.  If you want Patterson, why bring back Streveler, and vice-versa.  They are very similar low-upside run threat QB's with very limited passing ability.  If Streveler is anywhere close to 100% he's a way bigger threat at what they both do well.
Waste of a roster spot to have both.  Bring in someone who can pass.
Dukes almost 10 points better than Patterson in QBR and still 26.
