I'm personally concerned about the DTs more than anything. Very ineffective
-
-
Those look like two basement dwellers to me...
-
Sounds like Kohlert is day to day and could still be in the lineup. If he can't go they might give themselves the flexibility to go 4 american receivers.
-
Also of note, Malachi Freeman released to make room...
Really? He seemed like a gamer to me...
-
The Marve and Veltung show in the 4th quarter was pretty great. Second best returner in Tc and has some potential to be better I think. Not counting him out completely
-
Hard not to get excited when Marve is in the game though. He can make guys look silly with his legs.
-
I'd be thrilled if Norman can be an impact player. Haven't heard a lot about him yet.
-
I think Normand gets on instead of Lattanzio and out of that list ... I have no idea who sits. Thomas? Briggs?
We're actually suddenly pretty deep.
I could see them sitting one of Richards, Waggoner (the two green-horns) or Thomas.
It's possible we see Normand instead of Lattanzio. Going by versatility Lattanzio may win out, especially if they sit Thomas.
Look forward to seeing how our team performs in a game. Cats will be no push over. They are a good team but they have a lot of injuries. I agree Richards and Waggoner could sit when the roster shakes out. Didn't OShea say they would look at keeping Santella depending on how things work in other positions? Hang time even more important with the new rules. Thinking they like Burnett who has a chance to play his way onto the roster with a good game tomorrow.
Yep still a lot to decide...especially on the Import side. Some surprises too. My list is likely going to be wrong, I just wanted to get all of this out in front of us for discussion.

Sad. Anderson could be a force but who knows if he's ever going to be healthy again.
I don't think there's any cause to be concerned unless he actually re-injures it. Some pain and swelling is still normal, remember he is only about 8 months off the injury. Seems like he's right on track to me.
Fair enough. As someone with chronic knee problems I am always concerned though.

Thanks Cap'n Blue!

LB Sammy Brown - Wonder if this means Darrell Johnson is coming back? If he wasn't why would they cut Brown?DB Patrick Hall - Guess they didn't want to cut him immediately after the pre-season game but saw enough.WR Lavasier Tuinei - We have some very good receiver competition in camp if he was cut...OL Quinn Everett - Didn't expect that he'd make the roster...but he didn't look as bad as I thought he wouldWR Ezra Millington - Jordan Reaves continues to impress? Millington didn't look out of place at all...DB Dan West - I don't even understand why he was invited to training camp? Maybe we'll hear something about this soon.

Was that a helmet or his hair?
-
The tough thing is that it's hard to earn it as the 3rd string. You're essentially showcasing your skills in practice and waiting for an injury and maybe the guy in front of you playing ineffectively.
Im not sure Marve is quite there yet (and the team agrees) but I have high hopes for him.
-
Let's make assumptions!
-
They cut Fitzy? Really?
Yup. Looks like Cronk will be the long snapper
Rempel is still here. We shall see.
Nothing to see, surprised Cronk is still here. What added value does he bring other than backup L.S.?
I am honestly not sure but I don't see Rempel bringing a lot to the table outside of long snapper either. Cronk is 27, Rempel is 33. If Cronk can do the job well you gotta think age would be on his side.

Hope this can all translate to game success...because it sure sounds like we have some guys that can make plays.

I actually saw glimpses of Westerman getting at the QB only to be held up or arriving just too late. He has really good jump off the snap. Not giving up on him yet. But I would like to see more rotation on the line as well. And would kind of like seeing Kashawn Fraser on the roster.
