  1. I feel like that's just going down the same road we've already travelled with Buck.
  2. The problem is the fans. Need to cheer harder!
  3. We're just getting our struggles out of the way early. It will be smooth sailing from here on out.
  4. Unless all the refs hate him and make calls against us because he is our coach/GM.
  5. You're not finding a replacement GM mid-season so I don't see what difference it makes. If Mack gets fired, it will be Walters or Buchko taking care of that stuff for the balance of the season and neither one will be our GM next season. Pointless.
  6. Firing Mack mid-season would be senseless. He gets the rest of the year to turn it around. Playoffs, he keeps his job. Miss the playoffs, loses his job. That simple.
  7. Teams don't go to the back of the line because the picks happen simultaneously according to the bids. Meaning we didn't take Poblah before Edmonton took Laurent, the picks happened at the same time.
  8. This is how they lined up for the rest of the Toronto game after Sears got injured. Markett looked ok at HB, I thought.
  9. What was wrong with the comment? I think "No." would have been worse.
  10. Darrin Bauming ‏@DarrinBauming1m Tim Burke asked; Does Justin Goltz have an opportunity to win the #Bombers' starting QB job this week? Burke: "Maybe." And that's it.
  11. And spending the week telling his team to look up to how great the Stamps are, right before they are playing the Stamps, probably isn't a great strategy

  13. Yeah but that doesn't mean you have to cut him down in the media
  14. Buck may still be "the starter", but based on the way Burke was talking on the coach's show last night, I'm 99% sure Goltz will be starting Friday, and if he performs well he may keep the job. This is just a hunch I have, and if Goltz doesn't perform Burke will put Buck back in when he's healthy while maintaining he never lost the starting job. Burke kept using the phrase "at this point in time" when the Buck as a starter talk came up, which is the same thing he said about Brink when he was asked about Brink's future after Elliott got released. He also said people shouldn't get too worked up about it and maybe wait to see how things play out. Almost like he was hinting at the fact he's leaning towards going to Goltz but doesn't want to throw Buck under the bus in the media.
  15. Weird and surprising move. Milanovich press conference today to talk about that move and other Argo news.
  16. I don't think coordinator experience has to be pre-requisite, but there should at least be some knowledge of the Canadian game and previous experience as a CFL positional coach. Cortez, for example, was a QB coach in the CFL before ever becoming an OC. All the successful OCs right now are the same way. Chapdelaine, Milanovich/Brady, hell even Dickenson with all his knowledge of the game spent time as a positional coach before advancing to OC. It's just the only way that you're going to have success in the CFL and unfortunately the Bombers chose to ignore that.
  17. Kory Sheets Changing my pick to Jade Etienne
  18. Might as well go with Goltz now, the season's in the toilet already
