Right, and that's a pretty limited subset of today's music. I could name a handful of great metal guitarists, like Paul Waggoner, but nobody is going to know who the hell they are.

See, you're never going to get that kind of recognition of a single guitar player or something like that anymore. Pre-2000, sure, everyone was familiar with certain bands. But now, the selection is so varied that there are very few bands that "everyone" knows, and even fewer individuals. I can point to a guy like John Frusciante (formerly of Red Hot Chili Peppers) as a great guitarist, but how many people specifically know who he is? It's a different world now. There are no more Eric Claptons because you will never get people to agree on such a wide scale... because again, the selection is just too huge.

Not Johnson's first bad game of the season. He was able to bounce back after a rough start so I'm hoping he can come back strong from that one. I haven't heard anything about Randle being ready yet and I'll still take B Johnson over Posey.

Team NA more skilled and talented than Canada? Ummmm NOPE.

Ya, Scheifele is getting 6.125M and Huberdeau 5.9M

I don't see how they could possibly start Pavelec for any more than 20 games, barring injury. Hellebuyck will start.

Classic Regina, always trying to be Winnipeg

Decent choice IMO. Counting Stars was a massive hit.

Define "known" ? There are a million bands out there producing music of every kind. There is more music being produced now than ever before. Just gotta know where to look. If all your music comes from HOT 103, well yeah, it's going to be a certain brand.

Yes.... 5 Canadians on the OL is nice, but if they can't protect, it doesn't make much sense... EDIT: My mistake, looks like they are only starting 4 Canadians on the OL now. Still...

Toronto isn't making it easy on themselves but when I watch them they look like a .500 team. They'd have to go 5-3 over the final 8 to make it to 9-9, though. 8-10 seems more likely for them. Can Edmonton and Winnipeg both do better than 8-10? I think so. So yes, there will be a crossover.

I don't know what to say about this video but it's wrestling related and it's Kliff Kingsbury: http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0906/617252/lita-said-last-night-raw-went-off-the-rails/

Yes... Rask is there too. They will have a decent top line and top 2 D but they don't have the depth. But you never know. Chemistry is funny and the Finns always seem to have it.

Wow! Didn't think we'd ever see Hunt back in the CFL. As much as I hate the Esks I'd still like to see him do well. Wish we had picked him up. Wonder what his salary is like?

It's still a wildly imprecise science and if you follow the studies around this topic, and it sounds like you do, then you should know that. Even the top researchers in the field would admit the same. Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that as outside observers, we can't measure it at all.

Got a good laugh out of this. Alex Jones is such an idiot!

Top 3 in the division. I'm expecting big things this year.

Team Canada is going to steamroll the whole tourney. Young guns team should be fun to watch, though.

Nice deal. He is a legit star and a great young piece to build around.

Yes that's true, Willy did play poorly. Also, Harris ran for 13 yards on 8 carries while Messam ran for 137 on 16 carries. Plus another 40 yards on 5 carries for Tory Harrison. Damn Willy.

Info Wars vs the Huffington Post. Red morons vs blue morons

OK hold on

OK cite the study that was done here, regarding Willy. That's what I mean. Certainly the ability to lead is a real thing, but no one can tell that by watching a football team play on TV. Or seeing them play live, for that matter. All we know is that the entire team is playing better now. And that's not all on the quarterback. Tell me the defence is playing better because they believe in Nichols and you'll get a big eye roll from me.

How bout the Vegas Vaudevillians

Wins aren't a QB stat
