  1. Kirk Penton ‏@PentonKirk 1m The #Bombers will have both Nic Grigsby and Paris Cotton dressed tonight. Interested to see what happens with that.
  2. I'd be shocked if Henoc makes the Colts. I read I believe it was three days ago or so that he was taking minimal reps because of his position on the depth chart. It will be interesting to see how much time he gets once preseason for the team starts. As far as Matthews goes I highly doubt he comes back. I don't see us getting into a bidding war for him. If he gets cut I'd expect him to end up in Ottawa given how poor their receivers are.
  3. They definitely are. It's ironic how everyone wants to slag on the east (and rightfully so) but yet tooting Hamilton's horn from last week. Ottawa stuck with them almost the entire way despite Lefevour putting up the numbers he did. Ontop of that the Redblacks defence ranks at the bottom or near the bottom in almost every defensive category.
  4. I don't think you've ever seen him play. That is the only explanation I can come up with for your comments, because he is obviously a very talented receiver. Anyone can see that. Typo. Definitely a very good talent, my mistake. Meant to say "is".
  5. Do you think WIlly would have done OK here last year? Honest question..... Not a chance in hell. No one would have.
  6. If someone can't see that Blackmon isn't a fantastic talent, then I really don't know what to say.
  7. After his latest arrest a number of players he's played with past and present were on Twitter advocating the need to get him help. They would know better than anyone considering the time they spend with him on and off the field.
  8. Both Gordon and Blackmon are phenomenal talents. A shame it's being wasted away. Hopefully those around them can help them get the help they need, but likewise I'm not holding my breath. The good news is that the NFL is full of amazing, young wide receiver talent in guys like Jeffrey, Bryant, and Jones. Watkins will be in that category soon enough as well.
  9. I think Cotton stays. O'Shea did say on his show that while he's happy with Grigsby he'd like to somehow get Cotton on the field.
  10. A couple corrections - It's "Darian" Durant, and "Roughriders", not "Rough Riders". Interesting read though.
  11. Personally I'm not surprised about Morley having a good season at centre. For those that recall Morley's best year with us was in 09 under Kelly when he was asked to play centre a number of times in place of Khan.
  12. Well considering the one throwing the ball has been studying the playbook since he was traded/signed here, he'd probably have a good idea where the route was suppose to go, nevermind that he was seen afterwards on camera and suggested post game that Romby had run the wrong route.
  13. While Higgins is an average coach to good coach at the best of times if he has the right roster, you can't blame this on him. This is squarely on Wettenhall and Popp. Popp has had his worst offseason that I can recall, and Higgins was hired very late in the offseason compared to when coaches are hired. Considering that point he was also likely unable to assemble the coaching staff he wanted. If Higgins was hired around the time O'Shea or Jones were, would Worman have been his OC? Considering how long it's been since he held the position on a team, I'd say not likely. Ontop of that Popp had no idea Higgins was even hired (your GM should be picking the coach as we all know) until he heard in the media Wettenhall had hired him. The issues with Montreal start at the very top.
  14. Bryant already is at wide receiver.
  15. A schedule with nine teams will always have its messed up portions. It was the same thing last time Ottawa had a franchise. At least we have a bit of time off after the Toronto game. I believe Owens and Durie should still be out as well assuming they aren't pulled off of IR.
  16. Banks is out for Hamilton as is Butler.
  17. I was wondering if that may be something O'Shea would consider.
  18. Personally I'm confident our O will return to its status of the first two weeks when we get some bodies back. Watson, Kelly, and Greaves are big pieces of the puzzle. Good thing for us is that overall the offence has still been decent in their absence and the defence has been playing lights out so far. Lots to be happy about through five weeks.
  19. He has already proven that he can be productive in a better system. The offensive system isn't the issue. Collaros takes a long time to go through his progressions and he has a long delivery as well. Not a big deal behind an offensive line like Toronto - Quite a big deal behind a line like Hamilton.
  20. Told y'all.
  21. Bob Irving ‏@BobIrvingCJOB 29s Dan knapp injured--Chris greaves working at left guard for bombers.
  22. Their OL is truly awful. Worst in the league right now. Hamilton's isn't much better. LeFevour will help mask that though.
  23. Not concerned by this at all actually. Hamilton only has six sacks so far this season. Goossen should be able to hold himself just fine.
