Mr. Perfect

Phillip Hunt has been released. Muamba, Mulumba, and Bilduki have survived cut down day. Nothing on Matthews as of now.

I would love to know how you come to that conclusion after two preseason games with minimal number one reps. Unreal.

I'm most intrigued by Muamba. He had an outstanding game in week one and got a lot of playing time because of injury trouble for the Colts. Aside from that however he really didn't do a whole lot in the next three games. Mulumba on the other hand is competing with a fourth round pick, and two undrafted rookies for his spot. The fourth round pick is unlikely to be cut, and one of those undrafted rookies has 5 sacks in 3 games played, and the other had a sack tonight and also went to school at Alabama. There were a couple of injuries however at the position, so that wil; be the X-Factor in Mulumba's future I believe.

Week 4 of the NFL preseason is seen as the time for bubble players to leave one final lasting impact on their teams. With that, here are how players did that may be of interest to the Blue and Gold: Henoc Muamba - 1 tackle Philip Hunt - 1 tackle Christo Bilduki - 2.5 tackles Andy Mulumba - 1 tackle - Had a roughing the passer penalty which wiped out a Green Bay interception.

So was Goltz. Division 3, versus division 1, 2nd round NFL draft pick. Hell, even on TSN last year they were saying there were reports from Bomber camp that Goltz was STILL reading defences at a division 3 level. Apples and oranges.

If you were paying attention Nate, you would know Goossen got hurt last game.

That's one tough customer you don't want to screw around with. He'll show you what's up pretty quick, especially when it comes to banned substances.

In fairness that's not exactly what Lawless said. He expressed his opinion that we wouldn't be in on the sweepstakes if you want to call them that.

gary lawless ‏@garylawless 3m for those asking, no, i don't think #bombers are in the Dressler hunt

Tait is on a roll on Twitter with them. Check them out.

Free burgers hey? I wasn't aware Dressler converted to the offensive line.

gary lawless @garylawless · 42m "You gotta be on top of the mountain to get the good water." one and only coach Dave Ritchie joins H and L today at 4 on #tsn1290

If only Lyle kept his nose out of the on field product....POS. Coach Ritchie was a gem. No coach we've had since has been in the same league as Dave the Bear, not including O'Shea considering his tenure is just beginning.

Dressler would be a great fit, especially in the red zone. Willy loves the corner route in the endzone, and Dressler does a fantastic job of running and selling that route, among others of course.

Rod Pedersen @sportscage · 4m Looks more & more to me like Dressler won't be back in Sask. How does that sit with you?

Good thing the CFL didn't cave to the PA's picture of sunshine and rainbows when it comes the the health of the league.

Jeffrey Bannon ‏@JeffreyBannon 5m I've heard this before #JB

absolutely. you add someone at the level of a Dressler and I'd have no problems calling the Bombers receivers tops in the league. IMO Dressler is over-hyped, over-rated and soon to be over-paid. His biggest season was 2012 when he gained 1,206 yards and most seasons he's right around 1,000 yards. He does not rank with CFL greats such as Steegal, Simon or Allan Pitts. Calling Dressler over rated, and making spelling errors in two out of the three greatest receivers to ever play the game is about all that needs to be said about the above post... Dressler runs fantastic routes, he has deceptive speed, makes catches in traffic, and he runs a tremendous corner route (which Willy happens to LOVE throwing in the endzone). He'd be a great addition to the team.

Imagine if we had kept Milt, Bruce and Geroy together? Hindsight kills me sometimes. Considering the CFL was uncapped and Bauer forced Taman to a tight budget, I doubt that being possible considering the money that guys like Khari, Roberts, Sellers, Brown, and other elite players commanded at that time.
