I'm too lazy to dig up the posts from a year ago, but I remember them vividly. Hell, after Brohm's one partial game vs Calgary before he got hurt, people were freaking out about how good he looked. Last off season, people were posting here that we had the best QB depth in the league and that we could possibly trade one for a key piece like an OL. Sigh. What a difference a year makes.

Yeah, that's definitely my issue...why the **** can't we find import receivers? Why the **** are we paying huge in FA for them? That pisses me off...

I'm a really big proponent of getting this new sports complex built for both the Flames and Stamps, but there is absolutely no way Nenshi should get pushed around by Bettman, so I'm glad he's standing ground on this. Still....something desperately needs to get done. Both those facilities are long past their best-before date, and with Edmonton getting a sweet new arena/entertainment district downtown next year, Calgary will HAVE to do something because there is nothing they despise more than being behind Edmonton in anything.

This time last year, Hutch was a consensus all-star calibre player (many upset that he wasn't a call up for the ASG last year, when some declined) and was carrying the team. That's all's I'm sayin'......

Great players don't just suddenly become shitty. What Hutch needs is some time in the A to get his confidence back. When Pav returns, Hutch can do some chores on the farm and get his game back.

It's this....there's nobody more clutch in OT, for my money, than Toews. And in that 3-on-3 format, the guy just kills. He's fast, strong, and can finish or set up the play...him, Kane and Buff on a line was ridiculously good in the past, and I'd be interested in seeing it again...
