  1. Alberta had a bunch of those yesterday...to nobody's surprise. There are MANY Trump supporters out here...especially in rural AB.
  2. Pallister wanting to open the economy (move from Red to Orange) by the end of January. If things keep going up, as we suspect based on Christmas gatherings, I just don't see how he can do that in good conscience.
  3. I know of exactly 1 29 year old career 3rd stringer-turned-starter, Mr Fajardo, and you sir, are no Khari Jones.......
  4. that CFL News Twitter feed is running a bunch of quotes from Fajardo talking about how he's "not that interested in the NFL".... "The money is there, sure, but........" blah blah.... LIKE HE WOULD HAVE A LEGITIMATE CHANCE! It is staggering to me that a career 3rd string CFLer is all of a sudden being talked about as the second coming of Ricky Ray.....staggering!
  5. "Imagine going all in on Cody Fajardo" -- Raydawg
  6. Demski official... Good to have him back.
  7. there's an argument to be made that Big Stan is the best OL in CFL history. Also, while a huge Pat Neufeld fan, it's tough for me to say he's better overall than Hardrick, because Hardrick is the best RT in the league. RT is a lot tougher to play than RG. Neufeld is extremely versatile and can play multiple positions, but I don't believe he plays RT better than Hardrick, so my vote goes to Yoshi. I personally think SB/JH are the best tandem tackles in the league and among the best of all time. And that's saying something, because we previously had the consensus best tackle tandem of all time, in Walby/Gorell...
  8. This is my favourite post on this site for a long time... Well done.
  9. I know I'm probably in a miniscule minority, but Canadian players are a big part of why I watch CFL football and not NFL. It's our game, our people. I don't care to necessarily see the best possible players.... I am all about Canada, and as much of that as we can get.
  10. when even Ezra Levant was saying he was disappointed, you knew something was going to happen....
  11. Buncha ****** assholes. My MLA (a good dude in a shitty party. Being in media, he and I are relatively close) who also happens to be Speaker Of The Leg, was caught up in the rumour mill initially, but confirmed that he hasn't left AB since August. I actually ran into him at the grocery store on Christmas Eve and he texted me at work on New Years Eve day, so I was pretty sure... But still. So many entitled assholes within that party. I dare any one of these idiots to scream about "Laurentian Elites" ever again....
  12. Less than a thousand tests, tho... So TP not down as much as you'd think. Still good to see the number go down tho.
  13. I may have missed it earlier but had there been any word about the 3rd vaccine (Astra Zeneca) coming to Canada? I haven't seen anything... Of we've even made deals to procure some of it when available. At any rate, here's hoping that we get more and more and more...
  14. Something like 1/3 of Jason Kenney's UCP government in AB has been busted for traveling abroad over Christmas and deliberately misleading their constituents with social media posts suggesting they're at home. Absolutely disgusting. I wish there was an election next week...
  15. Well, great start to the new year for our family. My mother in law, in LTHC with MS, got her first dose today. Will get the second next month we're told. That's all I really wanted for Christmas....
  16. I know this isn't to the tastes of most on this board, but as we head into 2021, I think it's important to remember that life IS gonna be good again... Eventually.
  17. They should pump the Czech's... Who aren't that good. 19 1st Round picks... I damn well hope they're dominating teams. It's the very definition of an all star team...
  18. 2020 can get right ******. 2021 is gonna be a fantastic year... I can feel it.
  19. I can tell ya, every March, my radio station is on location to help advertise a MASSIVE bull sale (international scale) and the ranch that hosts it, while not as big as the Dutton ranch, is comparable in a smaller scale... This show feels so familiar.
  20. I may have missed it earlier, but anyone watching Costner's "Yellowstone"...? It just came to Prime, so only I'm a couple eps in. It's interesting and I can tell you, every person in rural Alberta will claim this as their favourite show ever. It's a real authentic look at their life, on a grander scale...
  21. I don't know anything, but I just like the way he throws a ball. His mechanics seem really sound. Smooth. But the biggest thing you need to play QB in the CFL is a top notch brain. If he can think the game properly, then we are set.
  22. I'm 100% with Iso on this. You can't possibly compare the so called negativity of stay-at-home orders to the virus itself. That's insanity.
  23. Not just.... Was a couple days ago I think. Nonetheless, incredibly talented musician gone too soon...
  24. Word on Twitter is that AB halted vaccinations over the Christmas/New Years break because they didn't want to pay nurses overtime to administer them. Perfectly on brand for Kenney's Alberta....
