Know tons of people that have had it. Some with mild symptoms, some with life threatening illness. Late 40s woman with no underlying conditions was scared she was going to die. It was that bad. Happened to them in July and they're still seeing symptoms. It's incredibly scary stuff that you do NOT want any part of. Wear your mask, keep your distance, wash your hands, and stay healthy....

I remember reading a thing back in March/April, when this first all went down, about the scientists working on the vaccine. It said, essentially, "It's like a hockey team full of Connor McDavid's and Sidney Crosby's all shooting at the same goal. Good things will happen and they'll happen fast. Never before have all the smartest people in the world been working together on a common goal..."

Exactly this. It's like the people who say masks GIVE you covid, because cases have gone up since mandates were implemented.... Which ignores that they'd be up WAY MORE of you didn't have the mask.

Rogers is going to bulldoze the Sky Dome and build a big fancy new park on the same spot. Working with government on a plan now..... interesting, as SD isn't THAT old, but they definitely could use something a little more modern.

I could write a novel on this bullshit we've seen from Kenney during this pandemic. As bad as you guys think Pallister is, Kenney is like the devil. With the highest case counts in Canada and people dying at an astonishing rate, he came out for his presser and said "We're going the bare minimum, because shutting down the economy would be even worse" than what's currently happening. I understand your point, but I don't like celebrating "NFL success" as some sort of measurement for the CFL. **** that league and everything about it. When we talk about the best of all time in our league, it's about our league and what was accomplished here.

I don't know a lot about the whole "Vaccine Passport" idea, but I like the idea in theory. Basically to do anything, go anywhere, gain access to an event.....you need to prove you've been vaccinated. Love that idea and hope it comes to fruition.

Jennings is the obvious, logical choice....but it certainly makes a lot of sense to go with someone who checks more boxes.

Unbelievable game....fantastic "live watch" party with Harris/Alexander in the first half and (even better!) Neufeld/FatboiThomas in the second half. Great insight on the game. I found the CJOB post-game show online and listening to that now, while sipping some good Sandy Lake home brew.......this is a good night. I ******* LOVE the CFL....and I live and die with the Bombers. Great ******* game....

Grey Cup Sunday!! Watched 84 and 88 GCs yesterday and currently have 90 up on the TV. Getting pumped for the GC107 rebroadcast!!

97 Argos... They should have been the winners. That team was like a video game where the player gets to create all the players and almost everyone is a 99 rating. It was unfair how good that team was..

A super interesting side note: most of the key Bombers players all came down with a BAD flu when they got to Calgary. Jeffcoat, Bighill, Collaros, Harris... Others.... Got a brutal flu and had to be put on IV during the week.

But.... How much time has the CFL had to come up with a 2021 plan? Months. And they still have no plan (according to Ambrosie) other than what they always done. You had an opportunity to find a different business model, and the optics are that they didn't do anything. Again, this is all optics as presented by the commissioner and the optics are that they sat on their hands and didn't do a thing, instead waiting for the world to return to normal so they could go back to a business model that, let's face it, has been dangerously close to broken for a long time now.

So nervous. I went to get some Farmery beer (the only MB beer in YYC) the morning of the game, down in Inglewood at Oak and Vine.
