Can't wait to knock the smug look off the face of Jones and the Rider fans. It'll be nice to sweep those clowns and eleminate their minimal playoff chances.

Numbers remain difficult for greenies. Seven wins vs four wins. Objective evidence of a superior team. 

This may be over your head, but maybe they played bad because they were running for their lives most of the game.  

Why do I hate the Riders? Is it because of their puke green ugly jerseys? No. Is it because they play in a **** hole province? Not really. I don't have to go there.  Is it because they've won 4 cups in 100 years? No that's hilarious. Is it because their team name is also the name of a popular brand of condom? Also funny.
I hate them because since the mid 2000's when that loser franchise had a small taste of success their obnoxious, beer swilling, toothless, cousin *******, uneducated, sweat pants with good shoes wearing, racist, inbred, penis breath fans became the most insufferable brand of malcontents in the sporting world. They make Raider fans look classy and put together. This team has just come off 2 horrible years with a handful of wins between both seasons, and has now JUST pulled themselves to a .500 record. And yet look at all the beaking their fans are doing. It's incredible. It's actually astonishing how tone deaf they can be, and the lack of self awareness is so pervasive.
The Bombers are 17-5 since Nichols took over last summer and most fans including myself are still very cautious and careful not to count chickens before they hatch. Yet these mongrels are breaking their necks to start erecting Chris Jones statues in that outhouse of a city called Regina.
I hope the Bombers beat the Riders by 400 points and Chris Jones rides off on his ******* motercycle during the 3 minute warning back to Tennessee and settles in a nice little cottage on ol' Rocky Top. What a prick. Him and his garbage fans deserve each other.

Blow out wins don't count for any more than close wins, the fact is this Bomber team is not likely to blow anyone out, they just don't play that way. They get up and they play it safe, they get down they go harder to get the lead back and then once they have it they try not to give the game away. It leads to close games and near heart attacks for us fans, but you can't argue that this team knows how to take care of it's business. 
The Bombers will not give the ball away like the Esks and Lions did to the Riders. They just don't do that, so without the freebies what do the Riders have? A Kevin Glenn led offense? Oooooo shaking in my boots. 
 
It's funny, Rider fans screamed the loudest that the Bombers relied too much on unsustainable turnover numbers to win, yet they seem to be thumping their chests awfully hard after 2 games with massive amounts of turnovers in their favour.... 

I wasn't aware that Ripper transforms into a giant peacock after the Riders fluke two wins in a row against the absolute worst performances by Jennings and Reilly in their career.   
Does he go into hibernation after a Riders team plays against decent qb'ing?

Of course its debatable.  In the same way that believing that the Earth is round is debatable.

You beat the Argos? Well start the tractors! And you beat the Lions one out of two games.
 
And the Riders have been extremely consistent on the road against west teams. They lose every time.

He has more Grey Cup rings than you have road wins in 2.5 years. 

Bass is more than physical enough to stop Messam - anyone recall how he put the ol' pile driver on him in their last loss to Calgary?  The question is will he stay in position to make stops consistently or will he get wiped out by the Stamps run scheme and allow big run gains.

Does a blowout in Calgary get MOS fired?

We're going to have to get a return and get Flanders going if we're going to have a  realistic chance at this... Cole and Westerman are going to have to step it up and Shologan, Cummings and  Bass will have to be key in defending the run.
 
Calgary may have less points against but I think our defence man for man is better... front seven I think is a wash but our dbs are best in the league IMO.

The more I see of Outlaw, the more impressed I am with him. He seems to be smart enough to find the holes in the defense, he fights for the ball, has good hands, doesn't go down after the first tackle attempt and lord knows, he has the size and speed. The only reason I can think of for his availability is personal conduct issues(?)

We don't need a superstar QB.  Give me a guy who can put up mediocre stats and win games, like Nichols.  That way we can justify giving him a low-ball contract and beef up the rest of the team with the savings.

I think Willy is really going to fulfill that potential we all saw in him early on in Toronto. They are a legit organization and coaching staff and he has Ricky Frikin Ray to learn from. I'm not saying we will regret this later on... because I just don't think he would succeed here... but he's going to be super good there IMO

I just want to know, how many qbs around the CFL would be losing games when the team over that stretch has taken away that many balls from the other team? QB gets too much blame and too much credit around these parts. 

Some of those lack of INT numbers for Nichols are luck whether flat out dropped by dbs or taken away on cheap PI calls. He's done well for sure but people trot out 6-0 and the TD:INT ratio entirely too quickly without providing context.

Really though, he is suited perfectly for the offence Lapo is running. More so than Nichols even.

I am glad to have Glenn back and a big stinky poop to anyone who says otherwise. 

Prediction: Matt Nichols breaks his arm in the western final, Glenn says, "time for some unfinished business", and leads the Bomber's to a Grey Cup win!
