The Lions had a Bollywood dance show for the last home game against Hamilton, and the cheering for the dancers was louder than the cheering during the game for the players. Well, almost as loud. What I am trying to say is that the dancing was really good, and that the Lions have crappy fans.

I like that Parenteau has won a Grey Cup. About time we started acquiring guys who have been on a winning team and can bring that experience to the locker room, of actually winning. How many other GC winners do we have currently on the roster? With Buck gone I can't think of too many, other than Foster, the guy we got in exchange for him, and DeAngelis (I think he won in 2008?).

Which is more logical? That Arceneaux is a ****** of epic proportions who is taking to twitter to slag an ex team mate over a comment that said nothing more than "Wow." (which is probably what every one of us said when we saw the trade) or that it's more good natured than anything. It's not that I'm defending Elliott to the death, it's that I'm arguing against the over reactions and piling on that goes on here far too often. Pay attention and you might see exactly what sorts of things I will argue. Iunno... calling someone a clown doesn't feel like good natured ribbing to me.... you should hear the things my friend and I call each other, makes clown look like nothing FYP - we all know your only friend is Noeller.

slowly but surely we are turning under-utilized or completely un-utilized assets into serviceable contributors who can step in and make a difference. I don't think this solves our O-Line woes but it sure helps. Small steps to a longer goal. Keep up the good work Kyle.

Seriously, who do you think we could get for Poblah or Edwards? I love reading the trade proposals here where we trade rowboats for battleships. If you had told me yesterday that we could get Akeem Foster for Buck, I'd have said you were nuts. Now I think anything is possible. Poblah for Bourke! Kohlert for Cornish! Morley for Fantuz! Walters you da man!

Off topic but does Buck have an invested interest in Danny's Whole Hog? Or are they just partners in a restaurant? Danny and Bucks restaurant which is the old Hus on first. I went once and thought it was great. Definitely better then Woody's and Famous Dave's. No idea why the hate? I love Danny and Bucks - the ribs are awesome. Not sure about why the hate either - maybe Mike's a vegan? Muslim? Just plain weird. Also - not sure why Wally made this trade. This essentially works out to us getting Akeem Foster for nothing, given we got Buck as a free agent. I don't get it. But I've like Foster from the first time I saw him play. Now it's time for act two - we're going to be trading away one of our NI receivers, maybe even two. But I am thinking Walters and Miller already know who they want, and what the price is, so this was just Act one of a two act play.

Yeah Durant was crap-tastic to say the least today. He reminded me a lot of Kevin Glenn and Burris after they take a few hits in the pocket, panic sets in and they can't hit the side of a barn. Durant was in major happy-feet mode. Now at least the rest of the league can see that they are beatable. You just have to blitz the **** out of them.

Tom Burgess could pass. Yet whenever I think of Burgess I remember that huge run he made up the middle in the East final against Toronto that set up the winning field goal to get us into the Cup. No one saw it coming, that Burgess would take off like that, Toronto left the entire middle of the field open, and Burgess did his best John Hufnagel shuffle up the field to win the game. Quite the awesome moment in Bomber history.
